In the PM, February 14, 2017:
After watching often vapid Democrat lawmakers today stand as one, in a moment of clarity, and after 8 years of a scandal ridden Obama presidency, I watched them finally call for a probe into that of General Michael Flynn, the Trump administration, and, remarkably, I agree that congress must investigate. While the Democrats diligently work to dig up dirt on former Democrats Flynn and Trump, I will be expecting congress to find who approved the listening in on General Flynn, and, who, moreover, leaked that transcript to the Democrat Media. The leaking of the transcript is a felony, and, while it is important that leakers are rooted out. I am most looking forward to seeing someone, probably from the Obama administration, go to jail. Maybe, this will begin a process of draining the swamp that got so deep and so sour during the Hussein years. Maybe more could go to jail. This would be a good thing.

There is no substitute for leadership.
It is the management of human wills as one cohesive force that will keep a far greater number of soldiers alive. The image Colonel Moore and Command Sgt. Major Basil Plumley is a great one. Plumley was played by Sam Elliot in the film, and appeared to be a fabulous leader as well. When the Army has leaders like Moore and Plumley, they deserve the very best Commander-in-chief that the American people can give them.

Beautifully written about a great American Hero in charge of a battalion of heroes.
Lt. Colonel Hal Moore kept his men completely in charge of that LZ even when it appeared that all was lost, and that their slaughter, and, or capture was imminent. Thank-you for recounting this historic event for the reader of BCN. I for one appreciates a true true told by some who truly knows the horror of war.

Commented on TITAN vs. TITAN: President Trump and the Federal Courts Face Off Over His Temporary Travel BanFebruary 8, 2017: The Ultra Liberal 9th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of Washington State as to what is best for North Carolina and 48 other states and DC as to what is best in regards to Immigration travel, which is solely the purview of the President and the congress of all of the people of the United States, as per the UNited States Constitution.
This may be unprecedented territory, as our protections have now been allocated, in some small measure, to the state of Washington. Liberals are funny when they try to govern, or adjudicate, and what is really humorous is how they rally around one another as if they have some great wisdom that is beyond the rest of us, and the Constitution the provides our nation structure.

No need to do it now; the new U.S. Supreme Court will hear Virginia's bathroom /locker room bill soon, and that could break the supreme court's tie on HB 2 verdict.

Commented on I'm not Embarrassed and Won't Keep my Mouth ShutTom, I do believe that Steve Bannon meant that most journalist need to '"shut up", listen and get smarter before they write the mostly stupid stuff that they write, and that they don't write as well', which may be the largest component as to why most journalists are so pathetic at what they do, and can't do very well.

And speaking of comedians from before, Chuck Schumer's cousin, Comedian Amy Schumer, is not funny either - too vulgar, with no real punchline. I think she is just an oversexed, overweight girl, who makes big girls feel safe.
Chuck Schumer is a laughable joke, but only as a "laughing stock". Still, he is not as incorrigible as Senator Pansy Voice, but he is getting there.

You missed nothing, and you still got the great music.
This generation's techno pop is awful. Went to bowl tonight and I had a bellyful of bad music. Stu Ridge would be a great cover, but, I don't care about folks knowing about my past nearly 40 years ago. I've more than made up for it. It helps being a practicing Christian. I do it for my spirit, my soul, not my reputation.

I will always love this classic Joe Friday. We, Hippies, use to get stoned then watch Dragnet, and laugh our fool asses off.
For many decades, I often look back on my formative years, before knowing the sobriety of a young marriage, and I laugh at the boy I was for too long. Looks like Jack Webb got the last laugh here.

Commented on Why are most comedians LiberalThat is one of the coolest things I have ever heard of. Those are special moments.
Please try to find some way to develop that into a post to help preserve that special moment for posterity. Steve Martin never told jokes, didn't cuss that much and pretty much stayed away from overt vulgarity and was funny. Even my kids love Steve Martin.

For new comedians, I like Tom Papa: beaufortcountynow.com Most comedians should stay away from the governing side of politics because it is way over their intellect, and whenever possible Comedians should reduce the vulgar talk. Too much gets real old, real fast.

Now, this is pure politics to get the Education Industry whipped up.
If Cooper really cared about education and teachers, he would work to put discipline back into the classrooms and then he would create a meritocracy within the school system to take the money used now for teachers and pay the best more and the rest less. Some teachers are paid far too much and some too little.

This is exactly how my small shop is run.
Politics is not discussed here, at least not by me. I answer questions when asked, but I don't talk politics. Why would I do that. Does it make a team member more creative or prolific in their proficiency? I don't think so, plus, I intend to have an environment that we can expand from, and I will hire someone for the reasons I would hire a Kurt Russell. Just do "the work".

Identity politics is not only practiced by the Democrats is practiced by some Republicans as well.
No one knows for sure about the Russians, but what we do know is that America, and its institutions are being hacked and Obama did almost nothing about it over the last 8 years.
