Thanks Gene. Eric sent it to me, so I gave him credit. Now in about 20 seconds, and one key stroke, you will get credit.

You welcome Gene. As you will agree, anything worth doing is worth doing right.

And once again: Thank-you for your contributions. These contributions by you, and many others, is the backbone of our Moderated Informational Platform here at BCN. The least we can do is to stress presentation.

Commented on The Speciale matter

Fourteen years ago, I ran for the NC House against a well connected Democrat, who used the publicly funded offices of the Department of Social Services to try to destroy me in that campaign.

Even though I was a Beaufort County Commissioner at that time, the local Beaufort County Department of Social Services were willing dupes for the Democrats, which actually put them in jeopardy of multiple federal election laws.

It was fourteen years ago, I was a real nice guy, too nice, who got his feelings hurt, but still fought against this incredibly illegal, and unethical conduct of a whole group of a small army of unethical, dedicated, but downright stupid Democrats.

Fourteen years later, I am much more knowledgeable, much more hardened in my understanding of the real, principled way of real patriots, and today, I would endeavor to take people out of their jobs, and put them in a more suitable line of work, and furthermore, whatever conspirators that could be proved in jail.

What I am explaining here is that northeastern North Carolina Democrats think they own government agencies, since it is their prime directive to live off those of us who work and create, so they are capable of about anything for that continuance, and, moreover, they believe they have the Democrat judges and lawyers to cover their tracks. I have causation to wonder just how much of Michael Speciale's problem is similar to mine.

This bad Democrat behavior will not be forever, and I digress.

In part, that is why BCN esists, and we get a bunch of traffic, more than all our Beaufort County competitors online.

BCN allows me the ability to no longer suffer Democrat fools gladly ... not anymore.

In conclusion, back in that Summer of 2000, that Democrat Beaufort County Board of Social Service's preliminary findings, in writing, notified me of their grave concerns concerning my fitness as a parent, and that the courts system would need to get involved to straighten this all out.

It was this point, I basically told them to "F%@K Off!" (at least in my sincere, incontrovertible intent of my succeeding words), which was I then proceeded to explain to them exactly how it was all going to go down, and I very much believe after few choice paragraphs they understood me quite well. To be cleat, it was at that point, I was acquiring verifiable evidence of their complicity in this Democrat's illegal use of a publicly funded agency to better that candidate's chances in an election against a serious, and far better qualified candidate - me.

Weeks later, I received their finally findings (in writing) that I basically the most exemplary Father in the history Beaufort County, and as such should be basically emulated beyond all measure. You would have thought that they considered me Father of the Year. That 180 degree reversal let me know exactly that whatever meager integrity the Beaufort County Department of Social Services did possess in their Child Protective Services, in the year 2000, immediately vaporized - poof and it was gone.

The bad publicity from this public encounter was too late for my campaign against perennial Democrat Zeno Edwards. They succeeded in the damage to my perceived character as a public person; however, I did promise that Department of Social Services, as a county commissioner: If they ever use their tax funded offices to ever again better the chances of any other politician of any political party, against anyone ever again, I would not rest until I took the lot of them down.

To my knowledge, the Beaufort County Department of Social Services is no longer an eager participant in the elections of Democrats, by working as 5th column to slander these Democrats opponents.

With BCN, among my other publishing assets, that offer still stands. And when I perish form this earth, I intend to set in place the apparatus to further the reality of truth, such as it is.

Lord knows, the Pulitzer Prize Winning Washington Daily News has never been capable of it.

So maybe that is why I speak plainly against liars, cheats, illegal activities, cover-ups and abject stupidity, and I speak the clarion truth, with an abandon.

I just do it far better now, and in a continual manner.

I like to think of myself as the reluctant journalist, very part time, who is much more principled, with a far greater clarion vision than most of those better educated young stiffs, who don't have the integrity to be a part of any free press.

The great story in the future may well be: Where have all the principled journalist gone? In my small way, very part time, I take about two or three of their places, while I still do many other things.

The colleges that create these indoctrinated fools should be ashamed of themselves. In the meantime, with more than 60% of all journalists unprincipled and not even smart to really understand what they are reporting on, you will have to depend on the many free agents like myself, however part time.

I publish this contribution because I publish all Brant Clifton pieces that are germane to northeastern North Carolina, even thought it saddens me greatly to do so on this occasion.

Why?

I know Michael Speciale, Sr., and what I know of him is that Michael is a man of extreme honesty, and quite serious in his avocation as southern Beaufort County's NC House Representative. What I also know about Michael is that he is an intelligent man, a man of unmitigated constitutional integrity, and a man that stands on its principles.

Regardless of what trouble Michael, Jr. may have gotten himself in, I will stand by Michael, Sr., and continue to offer my endorsement, such as it is.

Regarding Obama "the wise" taking out Osama; see the Hollywood blockbuster "Zero Dark Thirty" (beaufortcountynow.com). From that film, it is suggested that it took Obama over 100 days to act on actionable intelligence gathered during the Bush administration, when they actually did catch, and then well interrogated terrorists to the point that they learned valuable intel.

While The Amateur has made a political living bashing Bush, the best this political punk could do, when he had his own 9/11, was whine about an American exercising his free speech rights to discuss his beliefs of Islam. Obama and his Lawless Attorney General put the American film maker in jail for nearly two years for that "despicable video".

After Benghazi, when The Amateur and Hillary B. (Benghazi) Clinton whined about this video, I remember mindless Liberal after Liberal in the OMG, and elsewhere - the true "Hope and Change" believers - parroting that "despicable video" stupidity, also know as Democrat "Talking Points".

I don't hear their insipid comments anymore. Stupid people, with big mouths, are like roaches when the adults turn on the lights. They always end up scurrying for the shadows.

You Liberals need to cease and desist treating this whole War on Terror as if it is this grand game of Capturing the Flag, where the killing of one man ends the game, this War on Terror, and then this propaganda becomes your president's sole foreign policy initiative in nearly six years.

I realize that Liberals are not capable of true cognitive reasoning; however, when Liberals are elected to give away the People's treasury to buy the votes of their low-information electorate, they could always hire the much smarter, much wiser non Liberal to deal with foreign policy.

The key here is: Will the elected Liberal act on the better advice of the better informed non Liberal? Usually not. Generally, its just more Democrat talking points for their "low-information" base vote.

The fun part is to watch well dressed idiots that begin the spreading of the this ridiculous tripe.

Yeah, Carter. I just love the way he left those hostages there to rot, rather than risking a real rescue. What was it - 456 days? We lost so much credibility worldwide, and here at home. What do you think Israel would have done in that situation? Why do you think they gave up the hostages just as Reagan was coming into office?

While that was going, Carter gave away the Panama Canal for some unknown reason. I will never understand that move.

America's greatest statesman president of modern times could well be a tie between Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.

Nixon was no Conservative, but he was probably the most intelligent president in modern time, with, and I hate to say this, Bill Clinton. Nixon thawed relationships with the Soviet Union, China, and was about to get us out of Vietnam with some respect until Democrat defunded the war.

Ronald Reagan was much smarter than they gave him credit for, plus he stood on his principles, while negotiating us through some difficult times. He was the last Conservative president, and I hope to another in my lifetime.

Thank-you for asking.

Our portfolio pages, which we will begin to market very soon, is like BCN, where we moderate our site, and you control your own database.

With Facebook, you can never truly moderate your page, and you definitely will never control your database. Plus, these pages do poorly in Search since there is no meta tagging of key Search terms.

Facebook is a transitory display system, dependent on what is hot to people with way too much time on their hands, and then ... poof ... and it is all over. They are on to something else.

Everything we do here at SNI is done with sustainability as our key focus.

Thanks Gene, but I was referring to all the Bush billboards that went up about two years into Obama's presidency, where they pictured Bush waving, with this big grin on his face with the line underneath it: Miss me Yet?

I am sorry Gene. I don't use that word, never have.

I just despise total incompetence, especially when there was no redress because of the reverse racism from the Liberal establishment, the OMG. That is slowly changing, and once the liberal media figure out that they were co-conspirators in America's downfall, some, maybe enough will jump ship on The Amateur, and he will be viewed in the clear light of truth.

In the mean time, you Liberals need to work on all that racism you are so imbued with, and by. It causes all of you to take the rest of us for granted, and that will be your downfall.

I don't hate Obama; hate is a strong word, but I do despise him.

I respect the office, but I don't respect those who don't - The Candidate is a fine example of such.

Obama, among many other insufficiencies, is a coward, and the American military will suffer because of it very soon.

I learned long ago to not depend on Beaufort County Republicans, the North Carolina Republican Party, and the Beaufort County Republican Party to get elected. There are some well meaning folks, good Republicans, in Beaufort County, but far too many RINOs, and, eventually, even tired old Bulls like myself just become too weary of fighting against the current of a bad stream.

The problem with RINOs: they have no principles, no loyalty to common principles, and most, excuse me here, all RINOs can not think their way out of a wet paper bag. One could argue their lack of raw intelligence could be the sole culprit; however, complete abdication of a commonality of principal is my choice for their sole destruction of the Republican brand.

Regardless, RINOs are destroying the Republican brand, and the Conservative brand - since they scurry under that banner as well.

Personally, I'm glad to be done with the Republican Party. Whatever reputation that I have managed to preserve for what I have accomplished for real Conservatives, for who I have become as a creative influence, I will lend to better causes for the enhancement of myself, my family, and other like minded patriots, who despise leadership that only pretends to know the better path forward, be they Democrats or Republicans. I know who you are.

My advice for salvaging and saving the Republican Party: stamp out the RINOs, and lose that whole "Big Tent" stupidity. Make the party one that others want to join because it stands for principles, and the good sense of principled leaders. Until then, it will be a tattered brand that means nothing except to those who need nothing to belong to.

I will remain a Republican, but I will keep to the shadows, watching, waiting until there is enough real grit to finally attach to, and then I will aid that renaissance.

For all that believe that I am just a great big bowl of negative here, I would like to offer my continued thanks to Charles Hickman for his short tenure as chairman. His chairmanship is the template to rally around. The RINOs scurried hither and thither when Charles took a principled stand.

Beaufort County NOW is bumping up against 200,000 hits per day here in September, 2104, and all the words I write, all the links I provide is just a well viewed, well documented piece of eye-witness historical opinion, based on empirical fact, to serve as a singular nugget of the true basis of how this Affirmative Action president will be judged.

All Democrat talking points like "BUSH LIED, KIDS DIED!", 'Cheney/Haliburton', 'Bush cheated in the 2000 election because he didn't win by enough votes in Florida', and other cheer-led minutia of Democrat- community-approved-maxims, to be discussed in 30 words or less who do pay attention, will seem as what they are; frivolous, when we, the rest of us, wrest the power of the pen away from those that can not reconcile fact over fiction in deducting how the past is viewed.

This means much to me. To stop the indoctrination from those that have an agenda, the false perception of historical accuracy, pseudo science; whatever it takes for them to stamp out truth and the curiosity to discover it. This elitist demagoguery ends now, at least to the extent that I, and others like myself, can mak a difference.

The one thing I despise as much as a liar is a coward. I have no problem with folks speaking their truth, irrespective of whether I agree with it or not; however, a coward is one that will not stand behind their words, and therefore, they know no truth.

It's much deeper that simple ads at this point.

The nation is at tipping point, and stupidity is not the answer.

Call it for what it is.
Commented: Monday, September 8th, 2014 @ 10:51 am By: Stan Deatherage
Hatefulness is a poor descriptor for a man that speaks the truth as he knows it to the core.

Your previous comment dances around the issue, while I go straight to the core. Divorce yourself from your continued understanding that politics should be like it use to be. America has changed, and so has the intelligence level of their politicians.

America can not continue on its present course. There are far smarter politicians waiting in the wings, and all we need for them to step to the fore is a smarter public, which will take some broad work.
Commented: Monday, September 8th, 2014 @ 9:43 am By: Stan Deatherage
Back in 1995, I learned first hand about bi-partisanship: It's called "Do it our way."

As long as the public elects politicians that only care about getting re-elected, they will only cater to their base vote. Furthermore, when that base vote is stupid, their politicians will vote stupid, and then the smart politicians - the one's that don't care about re-election - get the signal: No compromise from us.

Stupid voting base = stupid politicians = stupid decisions = the only rational outcome: No compromise from us.

ObamaCare is a great example of such.

My opinion on the this conundrum is the only real answer: The people that vote will have to get smarter. As this world gets more complicated, the mean average of the American People is greater stupidity. This American Republic will not continue to exist if that intelligence mean does not get smarter real fast.

The dimwit Harry Reid is the "canary in the coal mine". The equally intelligent Kay Hagan put him in his position as Senate Majority Leader. She represents her voting base extremely well.
Commented: Monday, September 8th, 2014 @ 9:02 am By: Stan Deatherage
I am a notable Republican that will never defend Thom Thillis; however, Reid is an idiot and he is scrupulous beyond measure, somewhat at the historic optimum level of Amatueur Obama and Lawless AG Eric Holder. Kay Hagan only fools Liberals, or those that can't think their way out of a wet paper bag. She votes for these men, and she votes for their policies, and, ultimately, allows their lawless lies and deceptions to continue to great deleterious effect upon the American people.

As far as the North Carolina Education system, we wise insiders understand it as complete FUBAR. Remember this one truth, too many Liberals in the kitchen spoil the brew, and it is well past spoilt in the NC DPI.
Commented: Sunday, September 7th, 2014 @ 3:18 pm By: Stan Deatherage
The problem; however, with Kay Hagan is that she is stupid and she has no integrity, and North Carolina voters show a rather dull intellect in continuing to elect a senator with such a terrible voting record, most notably is her long time support of the vacuous Harry Reid as Senate Majority leader.
Commented: Sunday, September 7th, 2014 @ 10:40 am By: Stan Deatherage
I must admit this one truth, I have a very keen eye for politicians, and my subjective opinion can be a bit demanding. I suppose I just know too much.

In the North Carolina Senate race, we elect the highest ranking politician in the state outside of the governor. Here, I just expect much more in quality than what we have here in both candidates.

While Thom Tillis is no where near the Republican's best candidate, Kay Hagan has two terrible obstacles to overcome: 1) She is egregiously liberal, and 2) she is no 'deep-thinker', not by a long stretch, and the first demand of any politician is that they have the intellectual wherewithal to do the job.

These are too critical times to send a intellectually challenged individual to Washington to do a intellectually sufficient's job.

With Thom, he is an Establishment Republican, and only grass-roots Republicans know what it means to be a real Republican.

What is a body to do?

Hagan will lose the the moderate independents because she is so terribly liberal, and Thom Thillis will lose the Conservative base because he is an Establishment Republican, and the grassroots can't get fired up on these corporate welfare types.

It will be an interesting race to see who stays home the most, or the least.

Primarily, I published this because I try to publish everything sent to me that is notable to someone, somewhere.

Secondarily, I published this because this absolutely the kind of bi-partisan effort that we do not need in the State of North Carolina, the United States.

Why fund others, and then tax the very people who already do business in North Carolina, many of whom will have to compete against the favored, who get free stuff and money? Why should they have to slave to pay the taxes to fund their competition that very well could drive them out of business?

But then again, that might have been the intent all the while ... to drive the unfavored out of business.

It is something that I will never understand, but I am cursed with a clear understanding of the role of government, and how well I know the pathos of those that don't, or could never form that intellectual construct, who, obviously are elected to serve someone. They sure don't serve the rest of us that can form cognitive reasoning.

I detest corporate well fare of every stripe, and public/private partnerships are a joke, and possibly, in a fundamental sense, unconstitutional.

It makes good sense from an aspirational perspective.

I pray that we do not have to have another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 for the so called People, or the politicians to get their heads out of the sand to know the enemy.

Actually, Candidate Obama has had the senate for 6 years, and the house for 2, plus he is unwilling to negotiate with Republicans, as evidenced by ObamaCare legislation when he had both houses of congress, so this Amateur President has lost the ability to deal with his political peers, not matter how much he complains.

The Candidate is arrogant, untrustworthy and furthermore not intellectually or emotionally capable of performing the job.

As a Beaufort County Commissioner, I know what it means to spend 18 years in the minority, and Beaufort County has well suffered because of this majority's actions, although, I did get my way on a few issues, which was to the benefit of Beaufort County's taxpayers.

I often wonder how better positioned Beaufort County would be if I was in the majority for these 18 years. I guess we will never know, although, I have rather definitive idea how these would be far better days for Beaufort County.

But, the People get the government they deserve. This is so true, especially here in Beaufort County.

What "The Tale of Two Funerals", along with so many improper actions, and inactions, including yesterday's non-press conference, by America's first "Affirmative Action" president, Amateur Obama, is that he is woefully incapable of understanding his duties, as per the United States Constitution, and that he is intellectually, or emotionally incapable administering his office.

All that we now that he is self-competent of doing, or completing, is play gold and campaigning.
