So a far left internet troll knows more about diet and nutrition than scientifists in that field from two universities? Amusing!
If you have followed research in this area recently, Bobbie, you would know that highly processed foods are regarded as harmful to human health. Fake meat is a highly processed food, and this study shows it is no different in that regard than other highly processed foods. The study found that fresh fruit and vegetables were healthy, but not the highly processed version that is fake meat. University researchers are hardly "internet jockeys" and tend to know a lot more about their areas of speciality than a local doctor.

That scientific study showed that eating real meat is much healthier than fake meat. I have not seen any studies yet about eating what the globalists at the WEF want us to eat, namely crickets and meal worms. Government should not be forcing this unhealthy fake meat on soldiers or on school children.

Commented on Malicious damage to our schoolsLearn your history, LIttle BObbie. King was accused, including by the FBI, of being a communist, not a "Marxist". Although he dabbled with some of their "social justice" concepts, King was fundamentally a Christian and therefore had no use for the atheist core tenets of communism. He actually preached sermons against it.
kinginstitute.stanford.edu What MLK was NOT was "woke", again because as a Christian he rejected homosexuality and would have rejected "transgenderism" which had not yet reared its ugly head. Dr. King's belief that people should "be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin" is the polar opposite of the "woke" notion of DEI.

Commented on How the sausage is made on Jones StreetThe power plays and cronyism of our "legislative leadership" in Raleigh, both Berger in the Senate and Moore in the House are a disgrace to Republican voters. They put their own personl power and doing favors for the special interests ahead of working for Republican principles. With Moore leaving, we have a chance to change that in the House and put respect for principle back into part of the legislature. The choice for the new Speaker is between special interest fixer Destin Hall, supported by the RINOs, and Freedom Caucus chairman Keith Kidwell, supported by the conservatives. A Kidwell speakership will be a refreshing new day in the House where principle will trump cronyism. Destin Hall is just a warmed over Tim Moore or a warmed over Thom Tillis.

Commented on Malicious damage to our schoolsMartin Luther King,Jr. was hardly "woke". Read some of his comments on homosexuality and it will show you he clearly wasn't. Indeed, it would not surprise me to some day see the Gaystapo going after MLK memorials just as hard as BLM gores after southern war memorials.
While Karl Marx himself never wrote anything that would promote wokeness, his followers in the following century did. Marxism is about creating divisions in sociey and Karl Marx expected wealth and class to fullfill the ideological need there. But a later Marxist ideologue changed that. Herbert Marcuse was chief of ideology for the German Communist Party in the Weimar Republic and fled when the Nazis took over. Upset that the working class did not rise up in Germany to overthrow the Nazis, Marcuse concluded that Marxists needed to create further divisions in society that they could exploit politically. He espoused what he called Critical Theory which advocated creating many divisions in society. Critical Race Theory is part of that. He came up with the term "intersectionality" to describe playing on more than one of those divisions at the same time. The "woke" movement today is straight out of the Marxist ideology of Herbert Marcuse.

There you go again, Little Bobbie, regurgitating those far left talking points again and again. Do you think like Goebbels that if you tell a lie often enough, it becomes the truth?
There is no equivalency between a proper federal court with an honest judge in Delaware, with a jury pool only somewhat stacked in favor ot the defendant, and a rogue kangaroo court in New York which flounts the rule of law with a highly biased judge politically, a jury pool stacked politically 95 to 5 against the defendant, and a prosecutor who makes up charges out of thin air to weaponize against a political enenmy and who campaigned for office on a pledge to "get" that political enemy. What happened in Manhattan was un-American in the extreme. Pre-trial polling showed that the majoriy of Americans comprehended that Trump could not get a fair trial in Manhattan.

The Biden case has an honest judge, so Hunter will get what he gets.
The Trump case, on the other hand, is totally political with a political apparatchik, Juan Merchan, as judge. Biden's handlers are probably still discussing what sentence Trump will get, which will then be forwarded to Merchan and he will do as instructed.

Trump never had any more chance in a court in Manhattan than a black man charged with rape of a white woman in rural Georgia in the 1950s. In both situations, the judge and jury were in bed with the prosecution from the beginning. Polling showed that the American people understood that about the courts in Manhattan even before the trial started, and the more one saw from out of control Juan Merchan, the worse it got.
Courts in other states should no longer give full faith and credit to anything that comes out of a New York court.

The challenge with young voters in the US is overcoming the "woke" political indoctrination kids get in the public schools and colleges. That is why voters all over the country are throwing out the education establishment which has allowed this from their school boards and replacing them with conservatives who will put a stop to it.
Beaufort County has that challenge in November as establishment hack "dead wood" incumbents T. W. Allen, Mack Hodges, and Eltha Booth need to be replaced

For years, we have depended on the integrity of the American justice system, and most of it still works, such as here in North Carolina, which nobody is trashing. What is appalling is that in some places like New York, the Rule of Law no longer exists, and that is a threat to the integrity of the entire system which must be corrected. While one cannot generalize from the banana republic standards of the failing New York judicial system, it is not something we want to spread. Indeed, other states should no longer extradict people to New York because fair trials no longer exist there.
It is against the concept of the Rule of Law and indeed downright un-American to run for an office like Attorney General or District Attorney on the platform of using your office to prosecute a political opponent. Yet that is EXACTLY what both New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg did. And both of them followed through with their campaign pledge to abuse their office for political purposes. As long as corrupt officials can get away with things like that, the judicial system they work in is corrupt up to its eyeballs. New York's "justice" system is a disgrace to America.

Very different cases, Little Bobbie. Hunter Biden is charged with a clear violation of a law that is regularly prosecuted against anyone caught doing what he did. Trump was charged with a made-up concocted mishmash that has never been charged against anyone not named Trump. The evidence against Trump was a bad joke while the evidence against Hunter Biden is cleare and convincing. That in spite of a clear attempt by Joe Biden to tamper with one of the prosecution witnesses.
The politics of the cases are also very different. The Trump case was a Soviet-style show trial against a political enemy. The Hunter Biden case is one where daddy's appointees tried to politically protect him, offering him a sweetheart deal with no jail time, that fortunately came before an honest federal judge who rejected it. Biden's appointees to not want to prosecute his son, but that honest federal judge left them no choice. Hunter Biden is now receiving the same justice an ordinary American would receive. Trump was given a political show trial that no ordinary American has ever faced on similar facts. If the Biden apparatchiks had had their way, Hunter Biden would have been treated with kid gloves.

Also, although he was indeed born into a Jewish family, he later became an atheist. He is profoundly anti-Israel, and the Foreign Minister of Isreal has laberled Soros "a threat to democracy". Soros now calls his mother an "anti-Zionist Jew" although there seems to be nothing to prove that.

In the lying department, Joe Biden takes the cake. His misrepresentations about himself and his family is like George Santos on steroids, and that goes back years. In his first campaign for president, he had to withdraw when he got caught reading a speech by UK Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock about his family background verbatim, and Biden's family history was not even close to Kinnocks. And he does it repeatedely like constantly claimed his son Beau was killed in action in Iraq when he really died of cancer while holding public elected office in Delaware. And then you have Biden's sexual assault on his Senate staffer Tara Reade.
When it comes to government records, a President by law has rights to keep some of them under the Presidential Records Act. A vice president or senator has no such right. It was Biden's keeping classified records, some of which he removed as a US Senator from secure facilities and some he kept from his time as vice president that was far more egregious than the claims against Trump on records. Yet the special counsel appointed by Biden's corrupt AG Merrick Garland refused to take any action. Garland even refuses to turn over copies of the tapes that special counsel said justified his failure to prosecute "a kind forgetful old man". This is a double standard and a two tier justice system based on politics.

The Fani Willis hearing is another stinky situation with a political contributor judge. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who presides over the Trump case, and his wife are both political campaign contributors to DA Fani Willis. While that raises some questions about his fairness and objectivity in the overall Trump case, it was a blatant conflict of interest for him to be ruling on the motion to remove Willis. Willis at the time was engaged in a serious primary challenge from a fellow Democrat, and McAfee's failure to remove her probably saved her bacon in that primary.
I have not read if Georgia has a specific ethics rule against political contributions by judges as New York, the federal system, North Carolina and most states do. But even if technically legal, which the contribution may or may not have been, it clearly created a huge conflict of interest for him to be ruling on a politically critical motion to the recipient of his campaign contribution. This is yet another clearly crooked Democrat judge. A good example of how being poltiical contributors corrupts judges is to look at the Colorado Supreme Court trying to take Trump off of the election ballot, which was later unanimously reversed by the US Surpeme Court. The all-Democrat Colorado Supreme court split 4 to 3 to remove Trump. The four who voted to remove Trump were all Democrat campaign contribotors, while the three who opposed that did not make political contributions to anyone. Colorado is in the minority where ethics rules do not restrict judges making political contributions, although from that ruling, clearly they should.

Commented on The ultimate result of the Trump trial decisionWhether or not the corrupt Democrat operative Juan Merchan puts Trump in jail or not depends on what instructions he is given by his Biden regime political handlers. Undoubtedly, they are seeing their political ploy backfire based on polling and contributions. Will they double down by jailing him or will they beat as much of a retreat as they can? That calculation is now going on among the puppetmasters behind the Biden regime, probably both in Davos and in Washington, DC.
"Build Back Better" Biden is 1000% in on the globalist agenda, while President Trump represents the biggest threat to the globalist agenda. Just as the Biden insiders and the globalists set up January 6 for their own political purposes with their instigators and their deliberately lax security, whether they instigate a "civil war" will depend on whether it suits their politial purposes, like maybe an excuse taking up privately owned guns.

Commented on The ultimate result of the Trump trial decisionNo, Bobbie, it is YOU who do not understand the meaning of the term "banana republic". A good example is a remark by President Bukele of El Salvador, a country that used to be known as a banana republic but now is a vibrant democracy, at his inauguration this weekend. President Bukele, turned to Don Trump, Jr. in front of the media and said "in our country we do not jail our political opponents".
In a banana republic, everything was about maintaining the power of the dictator, who was often called "El Supremo". If you were a significant challenge to the existing power structure you got stepped on. It was all about power in those regimes, just as it is with the Biden regime. Maybe Biden will start calling himself El Supremo, too. In a banana republic, a guy like Trump, the main challenger to the establishment is target numero uno, and there are no rules in what is done to take him down. Governor deSantis has a great comeback to the left's "above the law" comments. He said that in America, no one should be below the law. The manipulated charges and the kangaroo court in Manhattan sure put Donald Trump below the law, and that is just un-American.

The truth is that nobody has ever been PROSECUTED for that "crime" they charged Trump with, even as the misdemeanor it technically might be under the statue, and certainly not as a made up felony, or 34 of them, as concocted by the corrupt Soros DA Bragg. As far as non-discloaure agreements themselves, they are very common in American society and completely legal in every state.
