Dan Crenshaw is a great guy, a courageous guy, and could mostly be counted to vote Conservative on all issues.

The stable hand of Conservative Dan Crenshaw will be missed.

Great information Steve.

The "Non Patriot Left" is a phrase I coined to describe incontrovertible non patriot Democratic Socialist politicians here in our Representative Republic, who are decidedly non patriot in scope. I reckon all nations have politicians who are just non patriotic as America's "Non Patriot Left."

Will the former Republic of Texas elect this Leftist nut case?

I pray not.

I know of Nigel; however, I did not realize that he had become this viable.

Can he form a government?

Christians honor the tradition of this Passion of Christ, and His Resurrection, with such absolute conviction of its real occurrence, its absolute point in time where his sacrifice became his Resurrection about 40 hours later that every Easter season has been, is now, and will always be the most honored holiday on our Republic's schedule of events that all spirit filled Christians celebrate.

He is Risen!

The United States fundamentally needs a long series of seriously smart politicians (which we have the beginnings of NOW) serving our Good People by employing the foundational support of our Founders greatest gift - The United States' Constitution - and once we get ourselves fully straightened out, by first overhauling our incredibly misguided education industry, we should and could start cherry picking our neighbors to audition them to become our next states.

Alberta, Greenland and Cuba come to mind. Maybe one day Mexico to finally secure our southern border, and fully win the real War on Drugs.

I am going to offer a counter argument on the real population of Beaufort County: It is growing. How do I know this?

I have estimated a great increase traffic, and the electorate roles of registered voters, which suggest to me that between 57,000 and 64,000 humans, including Illegals, actually live in Beaufort County.

If a true census was performed, I believe that difference in population would shrink.

I remember HB2 here in North Carolina, and how the NCAA elected to not hold the National Finals in Charlotte because the Non Patriot Leftist initiative was to allow men to piss, shower and shave where young girls frequented to do their natural business. This issue was the beginning of men playing in women's sports at all levels of amateur competition.

RH, if you say Berger had a non interventional hand in HB2 being struck down, I have to wonder: Why has it taken us this long to rid ourselves of Berger?

HB2 was the political hill where politicians do final battle, and rise victorious ... If they are smart.

Ashley: Nope, not me. This is all Hood, or the Beaufort Observer team, which is a separate entity from me - Eastern NC NOW.

I currently have plenty on my plate, and do not need any "saving," especially since my "ilk" respect the fact that I have never voted to increase wasteful spending, or taxes in the 25 budgets that I have participated in as a Beaufort County Commissioner, a reality that no other Beaufort County Commissioner in the history of Beaufort County can claim, except one other than myself ... And, that would be Commissioner Richardson - The Hood (29 budgets governing as a Conservative).

Eastern NC NOW allows all written positions here, and will allow the well considered position of the Beaufort County GOP whenever it wishes to come clean with all that needs to be told to this publication's readership ... Just to set the record straight, once and for all.

Just a word of advice, as someone who has won this seat seven times as an governing advocate for my Constituents, your false flag comment - "You two have allowed the people to have their taxes doubled or even tripled in many cases" - regarding my commitment to properly representing my constituents suggests here that you are intellectually removed from the truth, and that is a poor position for a candidate to place themselves in if they are truly serious in the honest debate to gain the right to serve the good people of Beaufort County.

Bill Gates is not altogether right about some things, and is sometimes wrong about very big things.

The simple truth of the matter, Bill Gates has had brilliant moments, but eventually sold out his big brain to the dictates of the wrong-way Left, and that sell-out path often now shows in his current words and deeds.

Thank-you Washingtonian, but Ray Leary was right there by my side in that endeavor, and also provided his truck and some fine conversation as well that day.

I will admit to this one trait of mine: I relish the opportunity to use all manner of inanimate tools in the advancement of all worthy enterprises. The additional hardening of calluses on my hands and fingers is always welcome.

John Steed: I reiterate that my vote total for a Republican Primary was decent, and with Travis just 240 votes back, his vote total was decent too, and this was done without the Beaufort County GOP lifting a finger to drive voter turnout in an off year, weird time of the year primary.

The Unaffiliated voted in the Republican Primary for all seats, where candidates most resembled Democratic Socialists.

Van Zant: You might be right in your suggestions that the local GOP is working to build a party of recently converted Democrats, who now wish to become involved in party politics and run for office as right leaning moderates, get elected, and serve as left Fake "Republicans," controlled by the ideals of the present day Democratic Socialist party. That prospect is frightening on its face that Beaufort County's local party apparatus is inviting the RINO element within our midst, but that propect should not surprise anyone, especially myself and The Hood.

We have now, and have had the RINO element earlier in greater quantities within our midst on the Beaufort County Commission. It is as if the local GOP wishes fully round out the Beaufort County Commission with RINOs forever.

The Local Beaufort County GOP needs to collect what wits it collectively has among the controlling RINOs and RINO Whisperers, and learn what it means to be a successful political party to elect real Republicans.

It is a wonder to me how and why Democratic Socialists can be against a real "War on Drugs."

For years, I have wondered: Which side are they rooting for?

I am convinced that the Non Patriot Left is now in charge of the Democratic Socialist Party.
Commented: Monday, March 16th, 2026 @ 10:36 am By: Stan Deatherage
The local GOP has absolutely "gone off the rails" having NO idea what their charge was in the recent primary election, which was to get the vote out in the March 3 primary; in which they made the corrupted decision to do NOTHING; having just poorly spent around 11 thousand unauthorized dollars in the non partisan City of Washington election.

Instead of recognizing what a local Republican party is supposed to do, three factions within the local GOP's core functionies emerged, all consisting of RINOs and RINO Whisperers, seeking to elect three disparate factions of candidates that were predominately not conservative in ideals, or in knowledge of governmental practice.

The great irony here exposed within the local GOP's effort of NOT getting out the vote for all candidates, as in their charge helping the conservatives as well, and which they disdain, they aided in defeating their one inner party core incumbent, who has voted as a Conservative in Raleigh - Keith Kidwell.

I sometimes wonder since I truly understand how all this works, how getting people elected works - am I in a bubble here in understanding what I consider the obvious?

Bubba: I agree, and with School Choice in NC we are moving in the right direction.

The Public Education Industry needs School Choice, or it will never improve. Two truisms abound: 1. Without competition these monopoly created schools will never improve; 2. Public Schools "made their beds made their beds and now they must lay in them." The Public Education Industry, with their Leftist core approach to human values and the dispensing of that information by instructive fiat has led them down the road to ruin.

Competition is the only impetus to push the Public Education Industry in all the proper directions.

The Left hates education, and the Left must be politically destroyed to save education and this Representative Republic.

At some point very soon, with our Representative Republic at war for the last number of months, when does the Non Patriot Leftists in congress, and the Democratic Socialist Propagandistic Media begin speaking and writing truth instead of gas-lighting Americans who are poorly informed?

Constantly calling President Trump a Fascist, while America wages war against real Fascists, who have murdered tens of thousands of Americans, and hundreds of thousands of their own people is NOT a good look for the Democratic Socialist party and their Non Patriot Leftist leaders and fake journalists.
