Socialism and fascism are not opposites. They are kissing cousins. Both are statist totalitarian ideologies. Indeed the full name of the Nazi party was "National Socialist German Workers Party".

Woke has run our schools for too long and the result is that kids are dumbed down.

Parker's answers are NOT something that should be relied upon. During the controversy over the SAVAS social studies curriculum, Parker incorrectly told the School Board that Savas was "the only curriculum approved by NCDPI". That turned out to be false. Then on the Bridges math curriculum controversy, Parker told the School Board that Bridges "was not Common Core math". At a later meeting when easily available research showed that it WAS Common Core, he had to reverse himself.

The question is whether Parker is just that poorly informed or whether he is deliberately giving answers he knows to be false, possibly at the behest of his boss. Either way this history means anything he says should simply not be trusted.

Jim Crow was YOUR racist policy, Bigot Bob, not mine. It was YOUR Democrats who passed it. ALL Republicans and Populists in the legislature at the time voted AGAINST it. Democrats play the race card differently over the years but they stick to the race card. First it is the black guy they go after, then pivot to going after the white guy. Republicans, on the other hand, believe in treating all equally, not giving racial preferences.

Democrats search for waste, fraud, and corruption in government spending? Is the Pope Muslim? That would not happen in a trillion years.

Cleaning up big government waste, fraud, abuse, and grift that is strangling our economy is hardly "ransacking the country". Soros is a lifelong totalitarian from being a Nazi collaborator in his native Hungary in World War II to his globalist totalitarian antics today. Multiple world leaders have called him a threat to democracy, the latest being the prime minister of Italy just a few weeks ago.

Elon Musk is a strong advocate of democracy and free speech, while Soros is an enemy of both.

Commented on A Question of Title

The problem is that the Beaufort County schools have a know-it-all power bully as their superintendant. Cheeseman wants total control and as long as his sock puppets conrol the school board, he will ignore the professionals who should be involved in a project like this and try to do it all himself. That way he does not have to share any portion of power with professionals like attorneys or real estate appraisers. He just does those functions himself although he is not qualified to do them.

When will enough of our school board wake up to snatch the steering wheel out of Cheeseman's incompetent hands? They are supposed to be the boss, but they act like they think the superintendant should be.

Foreign aid is one thing and used properly can be positive, but when an organization goes woke like USAID has, it starts spewign far left ideological crap. That is when it needs to be reined in, and President Trump is doing that. None of the expenditures listed in that British newspaper are legitimate foreign aid expenses. Heck, USAID even sent millions to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to do gain of function research on coronavirs which created Covid.

Yes, Bolshevik Bob, there are far left hate sites like Southern Poverty Law Center who constantly spew hate at conservative sites and have the gall to call their opponentss "hate sites" or "hate groups". One of the attorneys at the Southern Poverty Law Center was arrested in Atlanta for terrorism, which tells you all you need to know about those phonies.

The AA passehger jet was right where it was supposed to be. The army Blackhawk helicopter was off course and way over its assigned height while climbing further. The issue is who screwed up, the helicopter pilot or the air traffic controller or both. The next question is why? No avenue that may explain how and why this disaster happened should be off the table for investigation, even if it makes some squaemish for ideological reasons. What is happening here is a coverup of facts that may help explain what happened and that should just not be tolerated. We need to know if this was incompetnence on the part of one or more people or deliberate.

Merit is colorblind. ANY racial quota or other subgroup quota is racist. People should be hired on their ability and qualifications, expecially in jobs where they public's safety is at stake. You just hate white people, Bobbie and think they should never get jobs. As Dr. Matrin Luther King's neice has said "the only race that matters is the human race."

Interesting development in the crash. The woman flying the helicopter at the time has finally been identified. She is Rebecca Lobach, who had served as a White House aide in the Biden administration. She was from Durham, which is a hotbed of far left politics, but her own politics are unknown other than being a White House aide, something that usually takes major political horsepower. I wonder if those aspects are why her parents pushed the army not to release her name even after they released the names of the two men on board.

That "bishop" is a leftwing political acticist, like the typical "social gospel" or "liberation theology" types. They have the trappings of religion but are more political activists, and the political speech of that "bishop" glaringly showed it.

That "National Cathedral" is full of stinking leftwing politics like when they took the obnoxious woke step of removing the stained glass window portraying Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. They are anti-southern bigots among other things.

Most polls are giving Trump a positive approval rating, not the neutral one of this poll, even if it touts itself as "America's most accurate pollster".

For example, the Reuters/IPSOS poll gives Trump a +6 approval rating, when in his first term, his rating never went over -3.

This is the very reason all school boards hire a school board attorney. When major projects like this come along, they stay on top of things legally. Our superintendant has conned our school board into hiring an attorney from Durham, who is not here locally to do things like that. My guess is that to save money, the superintendant did not bring him in on this project like he should have been and that the superintendant himself incompetently played lawyer or had another school bureaucrat do that. Our school board is responsible for that, at least the ones who had a vote on hiring this Durham lawyer. They should have known better but just rubberstamped Boss Cheeseman's wishes.

Maybe it is time to get someone with some business sense in a high administrative office at Beaufort County Schools, and to get a local school board attorney who is physically present to ride herd on major projects such as this, not one way off in Raleigh. This school ought to be named the CHeeseman Boondoggle Elementary School.

J6ers are political prisoners in Biden's gulag. Solzenitzen would understand.

In the real insurrection, the summer before, run by ANTIFA and BLM, the Democrats raised money for their bail and most insurrectionists were slapped on the wrist, even when they laid seige for days to the White House itself and burned down a historic church across the street. Those thugs were never hunted down like people who calmly walked in the Capitol were.

THe big problem is we have had a school board majority that just rubberstamp what their liberal superintendant proposes, and never bothers to look into anything themselves. Here we have seen the total management incompetence of that superintendant. His bungling has given the school board itself a black eye. Why did no one know when they proposed this plan that the city owned four acres of the land? Why did no one have a professional appraisial done on its value instead of having a totally unqualified person, the superintendant, just guess at its value? And will this puppet school board give their superintendant a raise again after this fiasco? Will they extend his contract? THey shouldn't if they are going to represent the people of Beaufort County.

It looks like the people of LA think the same way I do. Over 100,000 of them have signed the petition calling for the resignation of that incompetent mayor Karen Bass.

Competent leaders DO plan to be prepared for these fires. They have their resevoirs full, not empty in fire season. They maximize available water by utilizing dams, not blowing them up like the Democrats have done. They properly fund their fire departments, not leave them with half of the firefighters they need and over half of their fire trucks not available because they need repairs. They properly fund and carry out brush clearance, not do only 12,000 of the 90,000 acres Newsom promised. They pre-deploy fire trucks and firefighters to vulnerable areas when there is a weather period of high fire danger, not fail to do it because the city has cut their budget and they do not have the money for the overtime.

The owner of the Los Angeles Times has admitted he made a big mistake in endorsing the incompetent Karen Bass for mayor. but Bolshevik Bob, our woke troll, will never shy away from backing these awful incompetent politicians.

If the county is going to have an industrial park, they need to have control of who is recruited into it, not a small town that it lies outside of. Maybe the county should tell the town that it will be changed to a solid waste dump if they continue to play games about what businesses are allowed there.

The people of Los Angeles ARE suffering BECAUSE Newsom, Bass, and other Democrats decided to play politics instead of properly governing. Any federal recovery resources should not be pissed away by being put into their hands. Federal resources that go DIRECT to victims, of course, should not be held up for what local politicians did, only funds that those same politicians may screw up with again.

One clear example of how these corrupt Democrats are playing politics is that while the fires are still burning, they have a special legislative session to appropriate $50 million to fight Trump politically but not a dime for firefighting or fire victims. If there is any clear example of playing politics, that is it.

It just keeps coming out on these feckless California Democrats. That liberal mayor had actually pushed a $23 million budget cut for the fire deparment, but finally agreed to only a $17.6 million cut. She was warned those cuts would lead to risk of disaster from a major fire, and, guess what, it has. The mayor was also warned of major fire danger conditions setting up before she jetted off on her taxpayer paid junket to Africa, but she went anyway.

Governor Newsome deliberately dumped the water in California's resevoirs into the Pacific Ocean back when rainfall had them full because of some obscure environmentalist argument, so the water was not there for the fire hydrants in fire season.

The policy blunders are legion in this fiasco from the liberal Democrat politicians.

BS, Little Bobbie. The globalist left is working to supress free speech all around the world, whether it is the US, Europe, or Australia. The leftist Green Paries are the very worst offenders. Law Professor Jonathan Turley, one of the leading defenders of freedom of speech in the US says the the Biden regime was the most anti-free speech administration in US history.

The right wants free speech for everyone. Elon Musk is a very good example of that with what he has done with Twitter and to expose the left's suppression of free speech.

Stan - Bozo Bob is out there in far left la-la land even more than usual. The Capitol Police were who did the beating of rioters, and that was involved in a death or two among rioters. One can sort of sympathize with them to a point because Pelosi deliberately left them undermanned and subject to being overrun, so they were is a desperate situation. Trump offered the National Guard to defend the Capitol but the Democrats refused that. Gallows for Pence? What a ridiculous leftist myth.

The pipe bombs are an interesing point because while the FBI has been aggresssive trying to round up anyone who was even there at the Capitol for their Stalin Show Trials, they have done virtually nothing to investigate those pipe bombs They had pictures of the person planting them but did not even release those until a few days ago. Given the hyper-partisanship of the Biden FBI, this suggests that the FBI either knows or believes that whoever planted the pipebombs was on the Democrat side. Remember, one of them was plantd at the headquarters of the Republican National Committee. The refusal of the FBI to give any focus to the pipe bombs has been a curious spectacle of the January 6 charade.

The fact that militia members travelled with guns is common practice for them. That they did not take them into the strictly gun controlled District of Columbia shows they were law abiding. If they had planned to break the law and stage anything armed, they would have brought them in anyway but they did not.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Trump won more decisively than Biden did. The Politbureau that pulls Biden's strings thought they had a mandate to take the country hard left, and even after being rebuked by the voters they just have kept going with that radical agenda.
