If the county is going to have an industrial park, they need to have control of who is recruited into it, not a small town that it lies outside of. Maybe the county should tell the town that it will be changed to a solid waste dump if they continue to play games about what businesses are allowed there.

The people of Los Angeles ARE suffering BECAUSE Newsom, Bass, and other Democrats decided to play politics instead of properly governing. Any federal recovery resources should not be pissed away by being put into their hands. Federal resources that go DIRECT to victims, of course, should not be held up for what local politicians did, only funds that those same politicians may screw up with again.

One clear example of how these corrupt Democrats are playing politics is that while the fires are still burning, they have a special legislative session to appropriate $50 million to fight Trump politically but not a dime for firefighting or fire victims. If there is any clear example of playing politics, that is it.

It just keeps coming out on these feckless California Democrats. That liberal mayor had actually pushed a $23 million budget cut for the fire deparment, but finally agreed to only a $17.6 million cut. She was warned those cuts would lead to risk of disaster from a major fire, and, guess what, it has. The mayor was also warned of major fire danger conditions setting up before she jetted off on her taxpayer paid junket to Africa, but she went anyway.

Governor Newsome deliberately dumped the water in California's resevoirs into the Pacific Ocean back when rainfall had them full because of some obscure environmentalist argument, so the water was not there for the fire hydrants in fire season.

The policy blunders are legion in this fiasco from the liberal Democrat politicians.

BS, Little Bobbie. The globalist left is working to supress free speech all around the world, whether it is the US, Europe, or Australia. The leftist Green Paries are the very worst offenders. Law Professor Jonathan Turley, one of the leading defenders of freedom of speech in the US says the the Biden regime was the most anti-free speech administration in US history.

The right wants free speech for everyone. Elon Musk is a very good example of that with what he has done with Twitter and to expose the left's suppression of free speech.

Didn't you learn anything from the election Dumbkopf Bob? The people of this country do not buy your side's wacky Nazi symbolism. Besides, the biggest display of fascist tactics and governing America has ever seen was in the last four years.

Stan - Bozo Bob is out there in far left la-la land even more than usual. The Capitol Police were who did the beating of rioters, and that was involved in a death or two among rioters. One can sort of sympathize with them to a point because Pelosi deliberately left them undermanned and subject to being overrun, so they were is a desperate situation. Trump offered the National Guard to defend the Capitol but the Democrats refused that. Gallows for Pence? What a ridiculous leftist myth.

The pipe bombs are an interesing point because while the FBI has been aggresssive trying to round up anyone who was even there at the Capitol for their Stalin Show Trials, they have done virtually nothing to investigate those pipe bombs They had pictures of the person planting them but did not even release those until a few days ago. Given the hyper-partisanship of the Biden FBI, this suggests that the FBI either knows or believes that whoever planted the pipebombs was on the Democrat side. Remember, one of them was plantd at the headquarters of the Republican National Committee. The refusal of the FBI to give any focus to the pipe bombs has been a curious spectacle of the January 6 charade.

The fact that militia members travelled with guns is common practice for them. That they did not take them into the strictly gun controlled District of Columbia shows they were law abiding. If they had planned to break the law and stage anything armed, they would have brought them in anyway but they did not.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Trump won more decisively than Biden did. The Politbureau that pulls Biden's strings thought they had a mandate to take the country hard left, and even after being rebuked by the voters they just have kept going with that radical agenda.

Few Americans are even aware of Americana, Brazil, a city founded by thousands of refugees from the Confederate State of America who moved there after the end of the War Between the States. Unlike so many of today's "progressive" (more like Maoist) Democrats, Jimmy Carter respected the heritage of all Americans. That is a trait that is badly missing today as the "progressives" frequently attack our history and our heritage.

I was not aware that Carter had visited Americana, but good for him. Thank you for bringing that up, JV

I remember in the 3rd grade when a popular "comeback" line was "it takes one to know one". I really had not heard that comeback line used since then until Little Bobbie started posting that concept in slightly different words. I guess his mind and thinking has not progressed much since the 3rd grade. Most of us have grown out of that childishness.

H-1B visas are temporary non-immigrant work visas that do not give a path to citizenship. They require a high level of skill. The concept behind the program is good but it has been badly abused in recent years. This is a program that needs to stay but be reformed to eliminate the abuse of it. They are not supposed to be used to replace American workers but cynical companies have used them for just that purpose, and Disney is an example. One reform that would improve the program is to add a very high penalty for any company found to be eliminating jobs for American workers and replacing them with H-1B foreign workers. H-1B is supposed to be a supplement when American workers are not available and that purpose should be enforced.

The parties that behave as Nazis are the ones that want to jail citizens for criticizing the politicians. The CDU under Merkel is who passed that totalitarian anti-free speech law originally, but now the Social Democrats and especially the Green Party want to supercharge it. Those are your real Nazis. Free speech is the essential cornerstone of democracy. The AfD strongly supports it. The CDU, and especially the Greens and Social Democrats want to goose step all over it.

One law still on the books from the Nazis is Hitler's 1938 Reich Gun Law, and that needs to be repealed. Germans need the same gun rights as Swiss and Czechs, especially with the rise of migrant knife crime. Or even the same level as French and Austrians.

Changing your words there, Bigot Bob? In the weeks afterward, you kept posting that the events of October 7 "did not occur in a vacuum" which was a common line for Hamas apologists that you must have gotten from your talking points, and also falsely accused Israel of "apartheid". And your link has nothing to do with this issue.

Obama did mass retirements of more traditional "warfighter" generals and admirals and replaced them with people who viewed things like "social justice" and "climate change" as more relevant for our military. These retired generals and admirals are likely the ones backing Hegseth, who like them sees the military's mission as being competent warfighters. Trump got burned by some more "woke" Obama generals in his first term and he is wisely staying away from them.

Prior to Obmmacare, employer based health insurance was written for all employees of each company, and those denial rates on claims were still 1% to 2%.

As far as actualial tables and individual insurance, that is a matter of fairness to customers. Consider life insurance; should a person 30 years old in good health pay the same rates as someone 60 years old with cancer? Or auto insurance; should someone with no driving convictions pay the same auto insurance rates as someone with a string of DWI's and speeding tickets? Of course NOT.

Before Obamacare, insurance denials were exceedingly rare, between 1% and 2% of claims, and that was even true of United Healthcare, which now has a 31% denial rate. Obamacare did a lot of negative things to health care, and driving many insurance companies out of the health insurance business was one of them. Consumers now suffer from the lack of competition caused by Obamacare. But that was all by design. Obamacare was intended by its creators to gum up health care to the point that the public would buy socialized medicine, which is even worse.

THere Bobbie goes again, pushing hatred of Israelis (Jews). Israeli Arabs are part of the culture of Israel, serving in government, in the military, and in all aspects of life. There is an Israeli Arab party in the Israeli parliament.

Where the left gets this ridiculous charge is that some Arabs in Israeli in 1948 either fouhgt against Israel or fled the country. These were no different that Tories in colonial America who fled to the UK or British colonies like the Bahamas after the American Revolution. They made their choice, and it may or may not have worked out well for them. Israel has no more obligatoin to those who fled in 1948 than the US did to those who fled after 1776.

Those Arabs, Druze, Christians, and others who have accepted Israel have been accepted by Israel and have the same rights as Jewish citizens.

What the liberal Democrats were trying to do with both HillaryCare and ObamaCare was to gum up the system so badly that people would accept socialized medicine. They have indeed gummed up the system, and lack of competition in health insurance and health care itself has been a huge problem.

Here is an important comparison between health insurance before Obamacare and now. As Sean Hannity pointed out on his radio show this afternoon, claim denials by all the big health insurers including United Health Insurance were under 2% in 2013 before Obamacare kicked in. Now they are over 15% at most and with United Health Insurance at an astounding 31%.

I still do not think people want socialized medicine. Too many are aware of Canada's problems there where people die on waiting lists unable to get timely appointments. Many Canadians come to the US for medical care because they cannot get it at home.

The same is true with the UK's National Health Service, where Brits increasingly go to India to get medical care to get around the waiting lists at home. THere was an article recently in a British newspaper about how the NHS would send doctors to make house calls at migrant hotels in areas where it takes many months for a citizen to get an appointment.

Yes, we need to cut off the illegal aliens. Send them home for health care. Americans should not have to pay for interlopers who should not even be here.

From the course I took at the university level in ancient Roman history, Rome was first weakened internally by Emporers soaking the taxpayers for "bread and circuses" for the masses, which is equivalent to the welfare state in America set up by the Democrats. Once weakened internally, it was easy prey for the barbarian hordes that overran it. We are indeed seeing the Democrats today encourage those same conditions.

Alan Dershowitz, the renowned Harvard Law Professor emeritus was on the radio today, pointed out the Jordan was alive, breathing and heartbeat, when paramedics arrived, that Penny had a solid self defense / defense of others situation, that Penny should have never been charged, and that Alvin Bragg is the worst DA in New York history. Dershowitz is a life long Democrat who voted for Biden in 2020.

I think Alan Dershowitz is a more credible source on how the law applies to these facts than leftwing internet troll Bobbie. That means that Bobbie's contentions are untrue, as usual.

The same drug used for chemical castration of rapists is also the main drug used as a "puberty blocker" on young boys. The corrupt ACLU has vehemently opposed its use on rapists but strongly supports and insists on its use on young boys.

HMMMM? Maybe it should be used on ACLU lawyers?

With this dude as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, it was unclear if it was Mark Milley running the show or Miley Cyrus.

Chad backed out of the DEA job because conservatives objected that he was a Covid nazi who arrested a preacher for daring to hold a church service.

The freak show at the FBI is the present leadership, which led the majority of Americans in a major national poll to agree that the FBI had become "Biden's personal Gestapol". The FBI needs an ass kicker who will reform it back to what it is supposed to be instead of a political secret police.
