In the shadow of the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning USA, a stain now exists upon our nation's collective conscious, a condition that must be excised, or our nation will not function properly as one of a self-governed people. Understanding these long standing truths: What would you suggest as a quick, and, or proper corrective measure?

Truly he was a very great talent on loan from God. Probably my favorite song by Glen was "Break My Mind." By saying favorite that does not discount any of this great body of work. Like others, Glen went off the tracks for a while and then returned and shared his great work and personality. His smile could match his music. Blue skies forever Glen Campbell.

Stan, no doubt that he may be the right man at the right time. His actions are much more important than some of his outburst. Even a child or adolescent who is an outstanding student, athlete or does some heroic deed still needs responsible guidance. Our president just needs to act up to his potential. I wish him great success in his quest to restore America.

Yes, Trump is going toe to toe with media, and anyone else who disagrees with him. Unlike a lot (specifics unknown) of people, I don't think he wishes to crush the main stream media, they are doing that on their own. I agree with more of his policies than I agree with his twit tweets. Golly gee, wouldn't it be nice to have an adult back in the White House. (no vote here, it could be rigged)

A well presented opinion which a great many people share your views and fears. I am over 50 (well over), and would have never believed that currents events would have ever taken place in these United States. From openly biased media to the question purposely asked to promote ideas designed to end this presidency's administration and ultimately our Republic. They have done this by singling out individual targets and going after them with only accusations/innuendo/unnamed sources.
The former president's OFA is not loyal opposition, but cover for the structure of revolution. The losing candidate has openly declared she is in the resistance, not in the loyal opposition. Too many of our millennials have never studied civics and do not have a basic grasp of our form of government. They and so many of our judges believe that justice is what feels good to them and not a protocol of written laws(good and bad). The danger here is evident if unchecked. However, there are silent groups out there that will always support the Constitution.
If violence does breakout, God forbid, if the administration is driven from office maliciously I believe the good citizens lawfully sitting on the sidelines will have a voice in defense of their nation. The trouble for all concerned is once Pandora's Box is opened, no one can predict what will come out of it or how to close the lid. I worry that the nation and the Constitution I have pledged my loyalty to is in trouble and is being pushed to the brink.

Except for REMFs' very few who served had the choice of being in the field or in a support role. You did your duty as ordered. It did not take a firefight or a booby trap in triple canopy or rice paddy or up some muddy river to cancel your ticket. It could come in the form of a mortar or rocket attack. Or it could come in the form of a grenade tossed into a bar or pedicab. It only took one incident and you normally never had the option to say "stop, not now, not me."

Welcome home to an "Orginial Dustoff" pilot. I was in the Smithsonian several years ago with two Dustoff drivers when a vet in a wheelchair and his buddies came thru. When he found out they were pilots, he was very appreciative. Glad you made it back!
