They played a clip of a recent Wikipedia CEO on talk radio this morning where she said that "truth is a distraction from building a consensus". That line could have come right out of the mouth of Josef Goebbels. Wikipedia is NOT a place you want to go if you are looking for the truth.

Another big issue in Great Britain is the climate alarmist "Net Zero" CO2 project that is costing ordinary Brits a lot of money out of their personal pocketbooks. The Reform Party has been the only one taking this head on, calling it "Net Stupid" and calling to end it entirely. The Conservative Party takes a more nuanced approach to eliminate the extremes Labour is pushing but keeping a fair amount of it in place. Interestingly, a think tank headed by former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair issued an analysis highly critical of Net Zero just before the election, which upset the current Labour leadership immensely.

The pollsters thought the Green Party was in real contention with Labour for a mayorship in a left-leaning area, but it turned out that it was the Reform Party, not the Green Party, that turned out to be the real competition to Labour in that seat.

Reading the British newspapers online, unlike American newspapers, gives a real sense of what is happening across the pond. Indeed the British newspapers usually do a more accurate and thoroughr job of reporting what is really happening here in the states as well.

WOW, that is a massive majority that this by-election projection would give the Reform Party in the next Parliamentary election. The way that is calculated in the UK to is apply the percentage changes for each party from the last election to the by-election in this constituency or district to the percentages attained by each party in the last election in every constituency in the country. So it assumes for every seat the percentage change for each party will be the same as in this district. Then you crunch the numbers and look at the result. While this mehodology is not perfect, it gives a pretty good idea of the trends.

Polling showed illegal immigration a top issue in the UK. This is another case where the traditional conservatives have not been strong enough on illegal immigration and the voters are turning to the populist right instead. We saw it in Italy, France, and the Netherlands. It is now being felt in Germany and has come in a very large way to the UK.

GONE are the days of the honor system, & honorable men. When we see that even Judges hav become lawless, we know that th USA is about to become an authoritarian nation. When pple cant be trusted to "police" themselves, then many laws must b written to clarity right & wrong. When Americans were seen as a moral people, freedom was easy. The USA didnt need a lot of petty laws to control us. But the pendulum has swung, we are no longer in that world.

Our local Govt officials dont give a damn about WeThePpl, they are out to protect themselves & do as their boss dictates. The local citizens who are just trying to get by, from day to day, are abused & ignored. Trump is trying to right th wrongs, but he cant get fix the local wrongs being done against the people. Citizens will have to demand we be respected & treated as people deserving our RIGHTS be honored & not just trouble-makers when we Speak UP!

It reminds me of the local bureaucrat who said "ordinances means whatever we say it means."

This is absolutely outrageous. Something simply MUST be done to crack down on these arrogant Democrat judges who are abusing power to advance their partisan political agenda. They are utterly despicable and make a mockery of our court system.

The real threat to the Rule of Law these days is from the pompous arrogant political hack Obama and Biden judges who are involved in a power grab against those who were elected to make and carry out policy. The Supreme Court should protect the Rule of Law and the reputation of the court system by smacking them down very hard. If they fail to do so, then Congress should. If nobody else has, then it will be up to the president to try to restore our Constitutional order. Biden and Obama judges function like the Deep State because they are part of the Deep State.

I read that even the liberal dominated Wisconsin Supreme Court has suspended this judge from her duties due to aiding and abetting the escape of this illegal alien from federal officers.

I recall a local Judge who said of the victim (VietNam vet) while in his own home still sitting in his bed... was shot w a 410 gauge shotgun, by a local "good ole boy." (One of the socially elite.)
Judge said: "I dont care you say because... anytime you've got a bunch of boys living in houses together, wearing their hair long like girls, and driving vans instead of cars... you can bet they are doing something wrong."
That was a long time ago, but it is still what its like living in a "small town."

Some judges NEED to be arrested. This kangaroo court judge was one of them, but there are others.

"Net Zero" CO2 causes Net Zero electricity on the grid for consumers. If you like blackouts, you will love wind and solar energy. This boondoggle must be stopped in North Carolina where it is already coming out way. Our "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy is pushing for it. Our RINO Senate leader Phil Berger did a dirty deal with the special interests and with Roy Cooper to rewrite the already bad HB951 into North Carolina's radical Green New Deal, which is more radical than what Europe has. Phil Berger needs to be tarred and feathered and run out of the state on a rail. He is a despicable political whore to the special interests and the Democrats.

Europe has been waking up on the threat of mass migration. Unfortunately, the globalist EU elite is all-in on continuing to flood Europe with Third World freeloaders.

Conor McGregor as President of Ireland would be a game changer there for the good. He gets it on mass migration.

Canada acquired a real migration problem under Trudeau, and arch-globalist Carney was very vulnerable on that. In Quebec which highly values its French heritage is particularly sensitive to that. Both the Conservatives and Bloc Quebequois failed to use that issue aggressively as they should have, probably to avoid being compared to Trump who had pissed off lots of Canadians across the spectrum.

Canadians should have remembered the disaster of Mark Carney as Governor of the Bank of Canada, their central bank. His failed policies gave Canada one of the highest inflation rates in the developed world at the time. He also sold off all of Canada's gold reserves on the cheap and replaced them with US and EU treasury bonds, an awful exchange for for Canada's economy.

As a big time globalist, Carney also is an enemy of free speech and a supporter of mass migration. Real bad news for Canada. Bashing Trump let him hide his own awful record.

Unfortunately, that figures. Cheeseman has never liked transparency or public involvement in decision making. That was shown by the bizarre and controlling way he handled the last meeting at Aurora. It is also shown by his failure to follow NC statute on public hearings on his scheme to consolidate Eastern and Tayloe into Cheeseman's Folly monster elementary school. Cheeseman patterns his power plays after the Deep State.

Even if you are not from Chocowinity, it is good to show up tonight.

It appears the Special Called Board of Education Meeting for Thursday, May 1 at 6:00 PM at S.W. Snowden School in Aurora has been cancelled for now. If and when it is rescheduled it will probably be on short notice. People need to continue paying attention.

I've got a feeling I know what's going to happen BUT hopefully I'm wrong. If they vote to close Snowden, the public should peacefully make it so none of these Autocrats will want to walk down the street.

If Cheeseman wants to be a cowboy, he'll pretty much guarantee the inevitability of an audit.

Audit, audit audit!!!

The cost of illegal aliens to taxpayers is enormous. They have cost New York City taxpayers $5 Billion. Other localities, too, and being soaked by these deadbeats, but all the Billions Biden shelled out for them is the worst. It is unacceptable to pay to put people who are illegally in the country up in luxury hotels.
Commented: Monday, April 28th, 2025 @ 7:04 pm By: Concerned Taxpayer
THe money to these illegal alien freeloaders from NGOs also needs to be cut off. Trump is already terminating their federal grants, which is an important step, but the NGOs need to be prosecuted for harboring illegal aliens if they provide them money or places to stay or anything else from any type of funds. Catholic Charities has already announced that they are bugging out of this business, but there are others.

W: Consolidation of the Beaufort County School System and the Washington City School System happened back in the 1990s. That bird has flown. I agree with you on the subject of hiring leadership. Why do we so often pass over well-educated local people in favor of outsiders that have no understanding of our area? More times than not these hires will be elsewhere on another step on their career path when the consequences of their actions here must be dealt with by us.

Even the legal analyst for liberal CNN has admitted that if this judge did what is alleged, she committed a crime. Actually, she has been charged with two federal felonies.

I truly loved watching yet another corrupt Democratic Socialist lawyer take this hit; however, I am sure this corrupt "keeper of the law' is "above the law" to whatever corrupt Democratic Socialist judge is picked to adjudicate this Democratic Socialist judge's case.
