For the last two elections five new school board members have been elected. Here is what has NOT changed:
1) The Superintendent and his assistant continue to sit dead center at the side of the same Chairman.
2) Other favored members sort of flank them.
3) Board members with a history of asking hard questions seem to be strown and scattered on the fringes.
4) Visitors are seated off to the side while individual school staff members sit dead center up front in the audience.
5) Visitors have to strain to hear board business.
6) The video is poor quality and hard to follow. At key times the audio doesn't work.
7) The school board lawyer still lives in Durham County, is still Chairman of the Durham County Democrat Party, and still has his primary job in Wake County.

That's what it looks like to me, and that leads me to wonder what it will take to have a school board that will actually BE a board.

There has existed a huge pattern of theft for many decades, where the Non Patriot Left originates massive useless programs that predominately benefit Democratic Socialist's constituents, where Democratic Socialist politicians get kickbacks from the Non Patriot Leftist benefactors, all of which is felony fraud.

Hopefully, DOGE will cast a bright light on this Democratic Socialist /Non Patriot fraud that is directly paid for by all taxpayers, where these Non Patriots will finally find the interior walls of jails as their long term homes.

All criminals must be taken off the streets.

Biden's whole Green New Deal was nothing but Climate Industrial Complex grift. Not only are these bad loans blowing up, but they got caught with their $20 Billion slush fund of handing out money to Democrat political operatives through EPA. One of their EPA political appointees had the audacity to call that program "tossing gold bars off of the Titanic".

They had the gall to call this Green New Deal legislation the "Inflation Reduction Act", an exercise in Orwellian Newspeak. That bill actually INCREASED inflation, both indirectly by an explosion in deficit spending, but also directly by raising energy costs, something that impacts to the price of just about everything.

We need to call out the RINOs who helped Biden do it, and that includes Thom Tillis. These RINOs gave their votes to Biden's earlier misnamed Infrastructure bill, so that Biden did not have to use a "Reconciliation" slot for that. By doing so, Tillis and the others preserved the reconsiliation slot so Biden could use it to pass his "Infation Reduction" Green New Deal bill. Tillis needs to be replaced in the priamry in 2026. WE need to bounce Traitor Thom out of the US Senate.

This would-be oligarch has established himself as Supreme Leader of Beaufort County Schools subverting the weak school board to his will. He completely botched the response to COVID setting our students back by years and yet has the audacity to still blame COVID for the failing scores that our schools receive. More than half (50%) of our county schools are still considered underperforming receiving grades of "D and F". It is time to remove him and find a competent leader who is not a California liberal and get rid of the spineless school board members who bow to his every whim. The latest debacle regarding the construction of a new school in Washington costing our county's taxpayers an additional half million dollars should be all the proof that is necessary to pursue this course of action. And the county commissioners have increased taxes this year and see no issue with the current spend and tax culture they use to benefit themselves and their cronies.

Concerned Taxpayer: I don't know who you are because of your alias, but your words here make a lot of sense to me, especially now that I see how my property value has gone up so much, and I am not alone here.

Why don't you, the person behind Concerned Taxpayer, run for the county commission, so we can get some much needed help for Stan and Hood. I hope that Tandy fellow will eventually be as effective as the Stan/Hood duo, but as you probably already know, we need at least 4 real Republicans on that board to stop the terrible wasteful spending on the county commission.

In my knowledgeable attempt to make the truth of Revaluation known to the public at large: Revaluation is an exercise that must be performed at least every 8 years as per the North Carolina Machinery Act, which perfectly stipulates how it must be done.

Due to the cost of the Revaluation, Beaufort County's practice has been to performs this every 8 years, which creates sticker shock for the public, even myself as I own property that demands that I pay my taxes, which most years always seems to be a struggle no matter how diligently I work to do so. Many of you out there are in my same situation as we grow older, and with the many responsibilities we encounter to sustain ourselves.

Having said all of this, please be aware of this one inescapable truth, Beaufort County is a Revenue Neutral County, and whatever the collective rise in average property values is calculated to be, thereby the tax rate of Beaufort County should be lowered accordingly.

With this reality understood, Beaufort County government, an entity that has the constitutional and statutory ability to correct the inconsistencies of a Revaluation in specific, and sometimes general instances, has no other ability to stop the Revaluation as prescribed by the North Carolina Machinery Act.

Besides, remedying the inaccuracies within the mistakes of any Revaluation, which will always be a certainty, the only power, and it is an awesome power, of
your Beaufort County Commissioners is the power of taxation, i.e., the tax rate levied as a lien against all real property here in the county of Beaufort.

DOGE is a good thing. The federal government has usurped the power of the people and the sovereignty of the individual states for more than 150 years. Bureaucrats and career politicians have fattened themselves at the expense of the American people. We need a return to constitutional government based on the free and unfettered consent of the people carried out by leaders with intellect and common sense . The Tenth Amendment to our Constitution states: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." It is time to significantly reduce the size of the federal government, return the powers to the people and states, and follow a pragmatic course that eliminates fraud, waste and abuse that exist throughout the bloated bureaucracy of the federal government.
