This issue all comes down to the special interests versus the people. If a company produces a product that causes cancer, they ought to have to compensate the victims. Kidwell and most Republican stood for that principle. A small group of special interest oriented politicians stood with the special interests. Dixon and Traxler are two of those, and Armstrong agrees with them.

It was not just Kidwell. It was most Republicans, who stood with average citizens and against protecting special interests. The chemical company tried the same thing in the US Congress, and in spite of a few special interest types, most Republicans refused to protect the special interests. They tried it in most states, but only suckered two states out of 50. In North Carolina, the Republican House Caucus overwhelmingly said NO to this special interest legislation.

Armstrong has a huge conflict of interest here. The chemical company involved is Monsanto, and its successor. Armstrong has extensive business dealings with Monsanto's seed division, growing genetically modified seeds for them. Armstrong has refused to reveal that conflict of interest to voters.

Roundup may be a danger beyond just employees on farms and their neighbots. Research in Florida has found Roundup in bread on grocery store shelves. It has also been marketed for home use..

Mr. Brown knows something about the law side of government, and I do as well, and I am voting on election day (as I always do) for Mr. Don Brown to better serve our public.

Folks ive known Keith for 10 years now and did yall ever stop to think maybe he got this one wrong? Trump just ordered phosphorus and glyphosate support both on the ground and legally. This is the same battle in our farm act last session, where lawmakers argued regulatory flexibility was necessary to protect farmers and food production, while critics warned about environmental and public health tradeoffs. In both cases, the core clash isn’t simply about chemicals... it’s about whether economic resilience and national security should outweigh precautionary regulation when vital agricultural inputs are at stake. www.whitehouse.gov

It's past-time to dump dirty dogs like Dixon, Troxler, and Armstrong. After being at the live debate in Washington earlier this month, it was obvious that Armstrong is working for the power of darkness. Any discerning Christian could easily see that truth! Vote Kidwell, people. Kidwell's love for people far exceeds the other candidate.

Does this all hinge on the fact that the dead shooter's writings has been opened, and now provides the people a purview into the mind of a deranged murderer that just happens to also be transgender?

Learning about Don Brown's candidacy has given me hope that a real conservative, Mr. Brown, could best serve North Carolina's people in North Carolina.

Candidate Don Brown certainly has my vote, and the vote of my wife as well, because my lovely wife learned so much from this Table Talk show.

Another one of those disgusting distorted postcards came in the mail today. It is about the fourth one, all virtually identical. Kidwell is a taxpayer hero. Armstrong would be nothing but a yes-man and brown noser for the special interests, completely bought and paid for with all this special interest money.

I see a lot of those Armstrong signs in Democrat yards. It figures.

As someone who knows how government works at all levels, let me tell you the essence of what I learned from the business I retired from: Government is interlinked and connected.

After moving to Beaufort County, I essentially wanted to know how the local governments operated, especially the county government, which is by far biggest gorilla in a small room, so to speak. What I learned from that evaluation is that Stan Deatherage, along with that Hood fella, stands head and shoulders above all the rest, therefore, Commissioner Deatherage, you have my non elected endorsement similar to the one Mr. Fritz so generously awarded you in the last few days.

One thing the Bizarro RINO Neo-Cons love to do is distract while dangling carrots in front of your face to make it LOOK like they've done something when, in fact, they've done absolutely nothing.

Killary has never been arrested nor will she ever be arrested; Benghazi was brought to us in part by the US Government. After Gaddafi told the UN to go f-themselves and that he wasn't going to do their bidding (the mainstream media will never admit to this but it's well documented), they sent in the US (their military arm) to destabilize the region....major shocker there, right?

Libya was actually a very rich country and the Globalist Neo-Cons weren't having it: they operated on the gold standard and kept the banksters out of the equation.

This was a dark day in America's history when the Obama Administration intentionally left nearly 40 American patriots to be slaughtered by Islamists in Benghazi.

As corrupt as the Obama Administration was, this was some of the worst of it, allowing Mr. Obama that fair designation as America's first Non Patriot President.

No wonder Armstrong refuses to level with voters on where he stands on much of anything. He is a total and complete stooge for the special interests who are trying to buy him this seat. He would be their bootlicker if he got elected.

Understanding that there is a political process of selecting those better qualified candidates by this one individual political coalition, I am satisfied to be recognized as fully qualified after all these decades of actually accruing a governing record of correct conservatism in the management of our People's business.

Therefore, it is a supreme honor to have been be given this opportunity to serve the good People of Beaufort County for so many decades, and I am hopeful that this recognition will help in my continuance in this endeavor of my public service.

The word was out around the state at filing time that Phil Berger had promised that $4 million would be spent to take down conservatives in the House, including Kidwell. Everyone assumed at the time that would mean money from Berger's own network of fake "conservative" PACs which have always functioned through a blizzard of direct mail postcards. When no postcards from the Berger network showed up, the assumption was that he needed the money in his own primary. Now, it is clear that Berger farmed the operation out to his buddies in the casino industry, and what we are seeing now around the state and in our district is what Berger pledged these establishment hack challengers.

Then there is that dark money PAC that has been mailing all the postcards for Armstrong. Who knows which special interests have been funding that.

NEVER ARMSTRONG. NEVEr troxleR. never beRGEr

Armstrong has been a "stealth" candidate who refuses to tell us where he stands on issues. Now we know why. He is in the hip pocket of the special interests who want to buy this seat for him. If he got elected, he would owe his soul to them. We cannot let that happen.

They are spending an obscene amount of money in an attempt to defeat Keith Kidwell. Amounts almost unheard of in a race like this. Imagine the amount of money these companies stand to gain if Kidwell were to lose.

What is disgusting is RINOs like first Laurie Buckhout and now Darren Armstonrg trying to fake Trump endorsements when Trump has NOT endorsed either of them. Those sort of weasels do not belong in public office.
Commented: Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 @ 6:37 pm By: Bubba
there are hundreds of thousands of dollars of special interest money, much of it dark money being thrown against Keith Kidwell. that shows he is a true man of the people and his opponent is a creature of the special interests, who would owe his soul to the special interests if he got elected. We simply cannot allow the special interests to buy our legislative seat for Armstrong.

Countrygirl: I'll tell you one turd that's about to hit the fan for several groups of people:

The community getting pissed off about Bath Elementary being closed down in the near future; there are some very interesting dots getting out together. I know several concerned parents personally, these folks are looking to make the school board look REALLY stupid if the don't vote in accordance to the wishes of the community.

Whoever fumbles the ball on "School Choice" is going to catch hell. Beaufort County stands to lose a lot of money ("more students" to them) if:

A. People aren't held accountable for screwing the taxpayer

B. Parents/Students continue to leave BCS for Charter and Private Schools outside of the county.

I think we have some "Rebloodlicans", who're actually Farrahkrats, trying to eliminate Realist Conservatives; they're afraid of the good people of BOCO who're awake and asking hard questions.

On the present school board, there are conservatives who support parents rights. Rader, Shreve, Hickman, and Davis are most prominent in that group. Then there are those who push what the public school establishment wants. Carolyn Walker is the leader of that group usually aided by T, W. Allen. Several others are swing voters on parent rights issues. Walker is trying to gain two pro-establishment votes by running Davis in District 6 and Cornelius in Dsitrict 8, both ex-teachers and in bed with the public school establishment.

Parents best bets in this school board election are all of the incumbents.

Thanks Nick for your ringing endorsement.

Additionally, I was just notified that I am also endorsed by the Conservative and Veterans PAC as the Conservative choice for the Beaufort County Commissioners' race.
