It sounds like the School Board needs the newly elected School Board now! How much longer will Beaufort County have to endure this continued bad judgment?
The Superintendent should offer direction, input, requests, goals, and reports but he is not the School Board. To put it bluntly, he is hired help and not the School Board's Vice Chairman. The sooner this board understands this the better educations our children will get.

Both Gaetz and Bondi are way better picks than Merrick Garland. It's hard to imagine getting worse than Garland.
If I remember correctly, didn't Thom Tillis vote to ratify Garland. It will be interesting to see how the Repub Thune goons approach the Trump nominations.

I see that the Third World is trying to shake down western countries for $300 Billon at the UN climate conference. Argentina's Libertarian president Millei bailed out of that conference and he is expected to soon bail out of the Paris Climate Accords, too. Good for him. Trump needs to do the same with US involvment in these scams.

It seems to me that it would be efficient and cost effective for the school board to maintain a list of the email addresses of those who want to receive notices and full agendas, and then someone at the central office could hit a button, say a week before the meeting, to send notices to those people.

Then there was that New Zealand government medical statistian who came forward as a whistleblower and revealed the government's own statistics of those who died from the vaccine within a week or so, and they kept those records by batch, with a few batches recording around 10% who got a jab from those batches dying from them. The whistleblower was arrested. The government admitted what he revealed was true but he was just not supposed to reveal it. When he was arraigned, he got a standing ovation in the courtroom.

DEI is a collectivist notion by the far left that insists on treating people as members of groups instead of as individuals and prioritizes some groups over others. It is entirely Marxist and racist.
The sad thing is the Beaufort County Community College is eaten up with it and our commisioners will not jerk their chain.

The globalists project a horror of "greenhouse gases", but without the Greenhouse Effect produced by greenhouse gases, the Earth would be a cold dead planet unable to support life. It is the Greenhouse Effect that gives the Earth a moderate climate capable of sustaining life.
Then they target CO2, a relatively minor greenhouse gas. The most important greenhouse gas, by far, is water vapor, which is responsible for over 90% of the Greenhouse Effect. What causes a change in the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere? That would be solar radiation. If one compares recent cold and warm cycles on Earth, they correspond exactly to cycles of solar activity. Thus the particularly cold cycle known as the Little Ice Age that ended in the 19th century corresponds exactly to the Maunder Minimum, a period of very low solar activity. When solar activity picked up, so did temperatures on Earth. The climate alarmists drive the profits of the Climate Industrial Complex, but their Chicken Little on steroids antics are detrimental to the average citizen.

It does not seem that having a school board lawyer who is two and a half hours away in Durham, and who is likely spending a lot of his time in his other role as chairman of the very leftwing Durham County Democratic Party is working out very well, does it? That is Cheeseman's doing. How is this out of town lawyer supervising all the moving parts of the contracts to build a new school from way off in Durham?

When I served in the Jim Martin administration as General Counsel of what is now the Department of Health and Human services (it had a different name then), we had a number of policy making commissions housed under our department like the NC Social Services Commission, NC CHild Day Care Commission, and NC Mental Health Commission. All of those commissions gave a full and timely notice of their meetings. Indeed each had a list of people who requested copies of meeting notices and agendas by mail, and those were provided. For any public body transparency is important, and notices are often also required by law.

Commented on Trump Taps Linda McMahon For Education Secretary, Says She Will ‘Fight Tirelessly’ For School ChoiceDo parents & grandparents ever speak w/ their children abt why they are in school? Or abt th PURPOSE as it pertains, directly to the future wellbeing of your child? Does he/she know that there is a "future" and how well they are prepared for it, will affect their comfort in life?
Does your child understand why the daily assignment is important to learning well? Does he/she understand that each daily lesson is a foundation for the next daily lesson, and w/out the first, the second will be lost? Dont just think because u told your child something, that they've gotten it. Repetition, repetition, repetition is how they learn. Dont just take your child's grade A for granted. Reward them! But also in today's environment, dont for a moment believe that an A+ grade means they did A work. Dumbing down is where we are at now. Lead by example. They are watching u constantly! If u love your child, never use them as a weapon against your spouse, with which u have a love/hate relationship.

Kelly gets it. A woman can see through another woman when they lie. This married woman at the hotel fooled around on her husband, later thought she would get caught, and way after the fact invented a sexual assault as a coverup for her husband's benefit. The police saw through it, too, because they did not pursue any charges.

Transparency is important in government, and is badly lacking with our school board. Not only are the attachments not made public, but agendas are set very late giving the public little notice, and often amended at the very last minute. None of that is transparent. Apparently, it is the superintendant who is in control of the agenda, and that is a function better assigned to an elected board member, probably the chairman. Citizens deserve proper, timely, and complete notice of issues scheduled to come before public bodies, including the school board. We have not been getting it as to the school board.

Commented on Biden admin quietly loosening immigration policiesObama deported 3 million illegal aliens. Now Biden has let in 12 million who should not be in our country. Trump has a lot more work to do than Obama did to send these interlopers home where they belong.
FOrtunately, we have lots of laws on the books that can be used that have just been ignored by the Biden regime. One of those laws makes it a felony to harbor illegal aliens. If woke Democrat officials try to hinder immigraion enforcement, those laws need to be enforced by arresting them. The federal criminal charge is a felony. Israel and some European countries have had success in offering illegal aliens money to go home willingly. That is cheaper than paying them welfare and cheaper than the process to round them up for deportation. Only a certain percentage will go that way, but it helps cut down the numbers who need to be rounded up. Federal law also prohibits paying welfare to illegal aliens or indeed legal immigrants, except in limited emergency situations. President Trump needs to issue an executive order compelling states to ppove the citizenship of their welfare recipients in order to get reimbursement for the federal share.
