They also owned businesses, plantations, farms, and other things. Here in Washington, a free black man owned a shipyard on the Pamlico River. Even in the era of slavery, there were successful property owning black North Carolinians. After the War Between the States, thriving middle class black communities such as the one in Wilmington developed.
Then the Democrats, your party, Bobbie, brought us Jim Crow in the 1899 and 1901 sessions of the legislature. That was not adopted along racial lines but along party lines, with the Republicans and Populists voting unanimously against Jim Crow, and your Democrats voting unanimously for it. Jim Crow was a partisan Democrat ploy to break up the alliance of Republicans and Populists which had won control of the legislature and the governorship in 1896. It is not white people as a whole that have guilt for Jim Crow, it is the Democrats who foisted it upon our state for their own political power. Another thing your Democrats did as part of that power grab in that period was the Wilmington riot, a pogrom against the thriving black middle class community in Wilmington.

Treating people fairly" was the old FEMA policy of "getting the greatest good for the greatest number of people". The Biden-Harris FEMA has junked that approach for "Disaster Equity" which means favoring certain groups in society over other groups.
Fair disaster relief means treating all groups the same, not picking and choosing favorites. When you play favorites, that CAN very well kill those in the less favored groups. Republcians want to treat everyone the same. Democrats want to divide us into groups and then have favoted and disfavored groups.

Conservative Republicans have done quite a bit about the border. The Republican House passed a strong border bill, HR2, which would secure the border, but the Democrats in the Senate refused to even let it out of committee. The Republican controlled Texas legislature has passed legislation present by Governor Abbott to secure the border, as did Arizona when they still had a Republican governor. FLorida has also passed some strong legislation to crack down on illegal immigration, again with a GOP governor, deSantis and a GOP legislature.
Back when Trump was in office, he also did a lot on the border including building the wall, which Biden-Harris cancelled, and strong executive orders to keep illegal aliens out, which Biden-Harris also cancelled. Biden-Harris then went around our immigration laws to open the border to illegal aliens. Little Bobbie just parrots his far left walking points which are uninformed in the extreme.

As I look back, I am ashamed that non white people faced so much animosity. Although I did not turn the fire hose on people I am a beneficiary of a system that allowed it to happen. My family was allowed to become educated, own property, business and create wealth. Until the 1960s that was not true for most people of color and don’t get me started on the Native Americans. Bottom line, show a little respect for those that stuck it out, contributed and made this country work for them, as it works for you.

Hmmm! They must have seen those polls showing Virginia getting competive and moved to try to protect Harris. These days Al Capone would probably be considered more honest than the DOJ or FBI.
Even if they block the removal, GOP poll watchers will have the names and can challenge them individually if they try to vote. They also should make a crimial referenal and have them arrested if they try to vote illegally.

If the Democrats want to see "extremists" they should look at their own ticket. Mo Green, Allison Riggs, and Braxton Winston are particularly hard core extreme left. The Democrat running for governor, Josh Stein, is the most leftwing candidate ever from a major party for that office. He is much farther to the left than Robinson is to the right. Heck, Robinson is basicly a coward who regularly ducked major issues in the legislature as lieutenant governor.

Taxpayers are getting ripped off by the mooching illegal aliens who do not even belong in our country, and this is just one more way this is happening. On top of it, this drain on resources is imparing the education of American children.
Some European countries are paying these parasites to go home, and with their costs on society, that actually might be worth the money. Even better is to elect our Deporter in Chief, President Trump, and the mass deportation he is pledging.
