One of the most ludicrous parts of that Paris Climate Treaty (and it IS a treaty and needs to go the the Senate for approval) allows the country with the largest manufacturing base in the world, China, to be treated like a Third World pauper so that it pays in almost no money even though it is the world's biggest emitter of CO2. Uncle Sugar, on the other hand, has to borrow billions to pass around. This is an extremely flawed treaty that gives the ChiComs an unjustified sweetheart deal. We need to get out of it ASAP.

Having spent decades practicing criminal law, it is clear to me that this was a textbook case of both self defense and even more so defense of others. Alan Dershowitz, a very renowned legal expert, is absolute correct that this case never should have been brought against Penny. The testimony of the other passengers, many of them minorities and including children and the elderly, that they were in fear of their lives from Jordan Neely was clear cut. ONe elderly black woman at the end of her testimony turned to Penny and said "Thank you". Neely made the explicite threat in so many words to kill the passengers and began acting aggressively toward them. Penny was fully justified under the doctrine of defense of others as well as self defense to neutralize the threat. Since Neely was breathing on his own and had a heartbeat when help arrived it is a real stretch to say Penny "killed him".
Those of the left these days want the rights of self defense and defense of others to go away, but they are critical to our system of justice.

Diane's wit and wisdom is legendary here in eastern North Carolina regarding all manner of proper governance of this Republic, and her wise patriotic voice was heard often in the walls of the General Assembly of North Carolina, and within the halls of our United States Capitol.
Diane Rufino was not only brilliant, but humble, and continuously patriotically generous with her valuable time as an intellectual leader here in eastern North Carolina, where her wise words have guided many politicians, here locally and beyond, to make careful and deliberate decisions based upon wise precedent, and the continual promise of perfect governing by virtue of the precepts of the United States Constitution - our governing bible - written, ratified and perfectly prescribed by our Founding Fathers. Going forward, it will be most difficult for me to fathom a world, where my dear friend Diane will not be occupying a large space, in the smartest room, within the best house, of we good people of this self-governed Representative Republic.

Alan Dershowitz, the renowned Harvard Law Professor emeritus was on the radio today, pointed out the Jordan was alive, breathing and heartbeat, when paramedics arrived, that Penny had a solid self defense / defense of others situation, that Penny should have never been charged, and that Alvin Bragg is the worst DA in New York history. Dershowitz is a life long Democrat who voted for Biden in 2020.
I think Alan Dershowitz is a more credible source on how the law applies to these facts than leftwing internet troll Bobbie. That means that Bobbie's contentions are untrue, as usual.

Getting us out of the absurd Paris Climate Accords is a key, and it hopefully will be done by declaring it a treaty, which it is, that must have Senate approval. It is an outrage that Obama and then Biden put us into this mousetrap by executive action without Senate approval.
