Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisWow, The City Council held an old fashion Witch Burning last night, Or I could call it a RailRoading of JoeDavis. The three amigos, showed they ARE the CityCabal and will burn anyone who doesnt toe their Line. I'm seeing some very vengeful council members & there are 3 who would probably love for Rorie to sue any citizens who effectively criticizes their judgements. Very Scary!
The night's events were so dominated by Tyre that one begins to wonder if he is the secret Mayor & maybe CityManager combined. That man sure loves the sound of his voice. Perrault & Horton keep sharing All-Knowing glances w each other. Perrault even calls 4 the citizens to unite to torch Davis. Early on, Rorie noted that he was hving "a Washington Moment." It was as if to say, all he had heard abt the City is true. And Fritz looke lik a man who just landed on Mars & realized he is the only Human there, and if he is going to survive he's going to hav to begin composting his own poop to grow potatoes(TheMartian)

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainWhen you demand that Van Zant, Washingtonian, RINO Hunter, John Steed, John Valley, Befuddled, and Country Girl unveil who they are and you call for them to identify yourself I'll do the same. Not that I haven't already basically told you before. But deal?

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainTruth Be Told: I attend the meetings to make a difference, but the difference is impossible when RINO corruption gets in the way of actually having a real meeting, where the work gets done, and right now the so-called Beaufort County GOP is doing NOTHING to aid real Republican candidates in the upcoming elections; for instance - getting out the vote in the recent primary, where the Republican Party here in Beaufort County did absolutely NOTHING.
I, and other keen observers, could easily argue that the planned complacence by the local GOP aided in hard-working Representative Kidwell losing his primary, and school board incumbents, like competent Steve Rader, being replaced due to an onslaught of Democrats switching to Unaffiliated to pick the Republican nominees to serve as our candidates in the general election. One has to reckon: How many of these Democrats-turned-Unaffiliated-taking-Republican ballots barrelled to the polls to vote for Keith Kidwell, or Steve Rader, or Travis Martin, or Stan Deatherage or Charles Hickman (with only Hickman and Deatherage surviving the primary)? NO, there is little difference being made in every stretch of the political /governing paradigm by Beaufort County GOP, in which their obvious plan appears ambivalence, or worse, toward all local candidates waxing conservative.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainYou're basically the anti-Trump of Beaufort County. Whereas Trump has expanded the Republican base tremendously and is known for the art of the deal; you sir shrink the base of support in the county for conservative causes. And only know the art of the victim.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainYou want a list, Mr. Richardson? Here's what only I have observed. You called Mimi Speers a b*tch to her face at one of GOP County conventions in my presence. You threatened to slap Lori Norman at another. You referred to a group of Latino moms as Taco Moms. You called the police to report "a 300 lb black woman walking down the street in front of Frank's Pizza with a blank stare". You refuse to leave when the public portion of executive meetings is concluded. You tell people to shut up constantly when they question you. You raise your voice whenever you can. You make everyone that is visiting a meeting uncomfortable by pretending to constantly be a victim of some grand conspiracy against you. Your personality is simply toxic at any meeting.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainSo Much is broken locally, it is hard to know where to begin.
Before and just after the Council election, the candidates were anxious to shine sunlight on everything. Now they have hidden themselves in a black hole, where the sun doesnt shine. Everything is done in secret, and though Davis gives hints at to some of the secrets, it is still only hints. Did the public scare the new council members into the shadows, or did the Inside-City-Cabal do that? I'm looking for one of those "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" type of politicians. The County has one of those...he's called Hood.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainVan Zant and Hood Richardson. Get off the soap box. Your goal is to cause discord and disagreement. Stan, you rarely come to any meeting. Now you decide to come because you are running for reelection. You don’t support the Republican Party, only your friend Hood Richardson. Hood, you only come to meetings to argue and throw insults. Neither one of you do anything to support the local or state party. The Republican Party has work to do. Why do you even attend? It’s all about you trying to control Beaufort County. Too bad! You’ve held Beaufort County back long enough. It’s time for new leadership on the board of commissioners. TIME FOR CHANGE!!!

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainThe public can see for themselves the dishonesty going on in the leadership of the local GOP. They operate using half-truths and outright lies. The Plan of Organization calls for "advice and CONSENT" from the Executive Committee. Anyone that has served on any committee knows sub-committees report to overall committees. Neither of these things happen in the Beaufort County Republican Party.

Your location is a bad location, not easily accessible to the public. To Rational Observer, your first sentence is a lie and so is almost all of your remaining statements. If you are unable to comprehend what is going on you are doing a disservice to make these comments.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainTo be clear and precise, a motion was made and approved unanimously to allocate $400 for a GOP Headquarters monthly plus utilities. The initial site was in disrepair and posed safety concerns. However, our great team discovered an alternative location in downtown Washington for less which includes utilities. What's not to celebrate? Isn't this the epitome of conservative values in action? For those who prefer, the stairs are always an option, and we'll ensure the entry is accessible to all. Instead of continuing to attack the hard work of valued volunteers/conservatives, try being positive and show some appreciation.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainThe 2025 BC GOP Plan of Organization enacted March 22, 2025 calls for a minimum of six Executive Committee meetings per year.
This BC GOP 2025 Plan of Organization is not to be confused with the State DRAFT plan of 2025, which was not approved at the 2025 state convention or the DRAFT 2026 state plan that will be presented at the June 13, 2026 state convention.

Commented on Queen Garris Does it AgainWhen I read Mr. Richardson's articles especially lately, I have to remind myself that he's been in office for over 30 years having never furthered conservatism. Why must I remind myself? Because he's acts as if he's totally clueless as to how committees or the party work, but it's actually just a game so that he can play the victim yet again. Mr. Richardson knows damn well that there are actually only two required meetings every year for an executive committee. He also knows that the committee dates and times are set.Solely by the chairman of the party, not for approval by the executive committee. But of course he would write like he does to make it appear as if a rule is being violated that does not exist. Because then mister richardson can play the woke little victim yet again. I haven't seen this much complaining about being a victim in a very long time. It's almost tedious at this point. Every single article is about how awful he feels treated. I think it's about time he grows up and actually addresses issues that are important to conservative voters like tax cuts, regulatory reform, high cost of living, bringing jobs to the county ... instead of this endless whining about how he's such a victim at the hand of everyone else. Notice in his articles how there's always someone that's oppressing him. Whether it's carolyn garris, before michelle nix or keith kidwell. He never, ever takes responsibility for his bad behavior and inability to act like a decent human being at meetings. Instead, he acts like a democrat. That is constantly complaining about being a victim. I don't know about everybody else, but i'm over it.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisI think the good people of the City and the County, for the most part, have had enough of the kayfabe and political theatrics; they are ready for the whole system to implode on itself and for the cards fall as they will.
Beating people over the head with religion (Ra-Legion) and pushing Zionist shills are just two of the many things that have screwed the GOP. Grocery and gas aren't coming down, healthcare is getting worse and the working man/woman sees the deck is stacked. There are still Republicans that will tell you prices are coming but those of us who don't live in Bizarroworld know otherwise. It's all a joke and only those who desperately want to belong are the ones keeping this monster on life support.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisWoke: Do you hate all things and people Conservative, or do just despise all things smart and honest?
Professionally, I been working this governing thing for a very long time, and my learned path is very much alien to your concepts, that path of Stan being this well developed ideal: I despise all politicians stupid and dishonest, which seems far too often to exist in tandem in these times. Maybe, your just being consumed by what is "woke" has seriously clouded your brain on matters of what is real.

Commented on Queen Garris and Free SpeechRO: The thing is these questions are all rooted in addressing abuses of power. The leadership should have addressed these things honestly to start with. The fact that they were not addressed up front demonstrates willful intent to undermine and disrespect the Executive Committee and the results of the 2025 Beaufort County Republican Convention. When the questions from the committee started coming, after a several months drought in even having a meeting, they were met with obscuration in the form of ruling speakers out of order, not recognizing committee speakers outright, unilaterally ruling members as non-members, calling the police, filing legal complaints for stalking against members refusing to leave meetings and adjourning meetings outright mid meeting. You seem to believe the questions have just not been asked. They have been attempted in meetings, and they have been asked outside of meetings. The truth is the leadership is contorting weirdly in shaping ways of not addressing any of the issues at hand.
It sounds like you are not sure there would be good answers to my questions either, but since it is Mr. Richardson involved changes everything. That's where I disagree with you. Using a personal hatred mania is a poor excuse for ignoring important issues and hiding deeds that need to see the light of day. In Mr. Richardson's defense, refusing to leave a meeting he has a right to attend is not poor conduct whatever you may think of the man otherwise. It is certainly not stalking. What is worth so much to go to these extremes in order to not have to deal with the questions? Convenient excuses do not make good excuses. Poor conduct is dreaming up far-fetched concocted reasons someone is no longer on a committee. That applies to Mr. Richardson as well as a growing list of other people deemed by one person using little real evidence and absolutely no due process. This is both poor conduct and awful leadership. The supporters of this one person using these tactics are responsible too. Of course, the Executive Committee as a whole is completely left out of everything. So much for advice and consent. Why are people so afraid of hearing Mr. Richardson's questions and concerns? For the record his concerns are my concerns. In fact, many people want answers to these questions. I believe leadership is afraid because they are legitimate concerns about abuses of power. These circumstances demand real accountability. People do not have to like each other to work together. Using and not abusing the rules paired with sound ethics and a level of professionalism is the only way to approach these matters. I can't see that happening with this group of people. They're not mature enough to do it. That's a shame because the times we live in need a good moral Republican Party.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than This"Woke" is a term that is equivalent to "far left" or even "Marxist". There is not a dimes worth of difference between those three terms. At least Washington is through with the Sadler spendthrift police state. Using the city police to spy on his political opponents is downright un-American. Tazpayers are still bearing the cost of his overblown tax and spend policies.
But we deserve a city council that will reject those policies and their advocates like Greenville resident Tyre who is sitting on washington's council. Tyre represents the excesses of Sadlerism on the present council and he should be shunned politically. And we deserve a city manager who will run the city efficiently and get rid of the Sadler excesses, and the failed bureaucrat they have chosen is NOT that person.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisApparently none of you MAGATS have been paying attention to the backlash Joe Davis has received for all the blood face lies he's been caught in, and for the disturbingly unhinged, incoherent, off the wall speeches he's given. Are you also not aware that Perreault gets threatening emails from him at least twice a week? Joe Davis is a mentally unstable person and is totally unfit to hold office. But none of you seem to even notice that. Brabo is suing the city, yet that doesn't seem to phase you either. I guess that's just something that can be overlooked. And Fritz is using his position to target private citizens and demanding they be fired. That's not only unethical. It's illegal. But that doesn't seem to matter either. But you do chose to believe pathological liar Joe Davis when he says Perreault yelled at poor old Bobby. Bobby is a belligerent old man who speaks to people much worse than I'm sure Perreault has ever spoken to him. And you do know nick Fritz hates all of you, right?

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisInstead of a bureaucrat, if we want to clean up the mess in Washington, it would have been much better to bring in someone with private sector management experience. If they insisted on government management experience, then Virginia state government would have been a good place to look as there are certain to be lots of Youngkin administration officials being shown the door by the incoming radical Spanberger crowd.
