It is a personal vendetta that continues to play out during the commissioners' meetings. The name-calling and personal attacks are unwarranted and unprofessional. It is my responsibility to safeguard and protect the records of the Beaufort County citizens. That is exactly what I am doing, according to law. You have been informed several times that I am in compliance. All documents are backed up locally, in the cloud, and on microfilm. Space will always be an issue. The Register of Deeds office returned over $45,000 of taxpayer money back into the general fund last fiscal year. We do not spend frivolously. I will continue to work diligently for the Beaufort County citizens and customers of this office. The most recent Nazi march that sided with a presidential candidate was one in Florida where the Nazis backed Biden. And, you, Bobbie, are just like a Nazi because you are an apologist for the Hamas terrorist attack on Jews in Israel. The Capitol riot was a set up, achieved partly with provacateurs in the crowd and partly by deliberately weak security arranged by Pelosi. Why do you think the rigged J6 committee failed to investigate why security at the Capitol was so weak on January 6? They took advantage of something Benjamin Franklin observed: "Mobs have a thousand legs and arms but no head."

I was sitting in my Dad’s chair in my pajamas listening to “Jack Armstrong the all American boy” when the announcement came over the radio. I was six years old, but I remember it today just like I remember the day Kennedy was shot. Soon there was an Observation Post built in our front yard to spot airplanes. This had a telephone and was one of the few in about a ten-mile radius. Many of the men who left to fight gave that number as their home number. As a result, we would get death messages about our neighbors, and my mother would go and deliver them and sometimes set up with the family for the rest of the night. We were at war, and we were together.

You might want to sign up for remedial reading. I posted that I was a STUDENT in elementary school in 1964, NOT the principal. I grew up in a large urban county. The high school attendance zones were large enough that all of them had black students. My high school was 10-12% black when I started, and all other high schools also clearly had black students because we saw some of them on the sports teams when we played them and in the opposing stands. Similarly, there were black students, but a smaller percentage in my junior high school. Again, when we played in other schools in sports, there were blacks on the field and in the stands. Elementary school attendance zones were the smallest and so they may or may not have had black students. In some cases, it may have been only when parents sent them there by freedom of choice.

When I was growing up, children in elementary school were not dragged into political and social issues. We still functioned as children, something that would be useful in education today. Children should have an opportunity to be children, not politicized and sexualized in school.
Our school system did not segregate by race any of the years I was in school. Anyone who lived in the attendance district was allowed to attend, and they also had a freedom of choice provision where parents living in one school attendance district could enroll their children in a school in another district if they provided the transportation.

The racial discrimination practiced today is called Affirmative Action or, more recently and more radically, DEI, and that works the other way round. Only by dredging up ancient history can you do your race baiting. Maybe next your narrative will get into the slaves held by the ancient Romans and ancient Greeks.
