RH: Yes they are. I took mine immediately after becoming re-elected because of the gaslighting I endured, courtesy of the Beaufort County bureaucracy, as ordered by the Center /Left Coalition in the majority on the Beaufort County Commissioners.

Being personally in class, where I could stand and interact and listen, and speak one on one with the Institute of Government attorney's, while in session and outside of session, was well worth my time, and re-established what I knew to be true, and gave me greater perspective as to those that may be less of the solution going forward in these perilous times.

The problem with that ethics class for those junior to me, which, at this point, is everyone in Beaufort County government, excepting Commissioner Hood Richardson of course, is that these junior administrators are more interested in playing the political game rather than gathering real defendable knowledge, and tend to stay rather reluctant to remain abreast of all issues, in a real sense.

Furthermore, you would be surprised how little Beaufort County leadership, in the majority, actually have a rudimentary understanding of the United States Constitution, a document they are sworn to defend.

Aren't local government officials supposed to take classes from the Institute of Government to teach them proper procedures? Were Richard Brooks and Donald Sadler asleep through those classes or did they think they were above the law?

No wonder 50% of Americans in a recent Rasmussen poll believe that the FBI is a threat to America's freedom, and in a previous poll a solid majority of Americans agreed with the statement that the FBI had become Biden's personal Gestapo.

Christopher Wray is at best an "empty suit," at his worst, he is as corrupt as Merrick Garland over at the DO(in)J.

I fear that many tomboys will end up victims of the transgender groomers, who will push them into a "transition" they don't yet fully understand because they are not old enough to understand gender and sexuality.

I knew several girls who were tomboys in elementary school but became very feminine girls in junior high school. At a young age they liked doing the things boys of that age did instead of playing with dolls, but that did not mean they wanted to live their lives as males. Two of these former tomboys were at my 50th class reunion, still married to the same guys. One of them named Charlene would have been a particular target these days as she went by the nickname "Charlie" and still does. She is still one of the most beautiful women in our class and looks thirty years younger than she is.

What would the trandsgender groomers have done to these girls today? How many would have had their femininity permanently destroyed with drugs and surgery? It is sickening to think what is going on in schools of too much of America to pander to a handful of freaks who want to push others onto the same path, and the Frankenstein doctors who line their pockets off of helping do it to them.

I just found this report that slipped by our publisher /webmaster - me - thus realizing that I missed this most consequential foreteller of events that are at the core of the Biden Crime Family, and the fully weaponized Department of (in)Justice, led by Corrupt DO(in)J AG Merrick Garland in this massive coverup, persecution of former President Donald Trump.

What I gathered from reading this older, unreported (here at ENC NOW) post is that the Corrupt and Weaponized Department of (in)Justice was walking through the official "shell game" reporting of their non intention to even perform a limited investigation into the Biden Crime Family was conducted, when, in all reality, there was no investigation at all.

In hindsight, we now know that it only took one honest Delaware judge to begin the unravelling (of the "Sweetheart Deal") this massive corruption within the DO(in)J that was long considered real by America's brightest - our patriots - to finitely now realize that the DO(in)J is beyond any redemptive process.

More of this hindsight analysis to come should I find any more of these nuggets within this Realm of the Real.

Superintendants like this who put their far left ideology over the safety of students need to be locked up. Hopefully, he will get the full year in prison.

Favoritism or, in some cases, cancel culture in local government contracting seems to be rampant in Beaufort County. Usually, it is just bad public and fiscal policy, but the city may have actually bumped it up into criminal court with their underhanded scheme on Brooks' lots.

The school board has the same problem, with the board acting as rubber stamps for the superintendant and the superintendant playing politics with public contracts. In two recent examples when contracts came up for renewal, Beaufort County Schools cut loose existing local contractors who were the low bidders and doing a good job, to send those contracts to out of town bidders who came in at a higher price. That happened on a grounds maintenance contract and on a website contract. Why would Cheeseman want to spend more money to go outside the county? Who is pulling his strings?

Beaufort County local government units need better and more detailed standards for outside contracts and the bid process.

As to Bobbie, one wonders if he is a Soros troll, a Putin troll, or a Xi troll. What is very clear is that he is a know-nothing.

The Judiciary Committee has oversight period. People with nothing to hide, especially Public Servants with the ability to REVOKE YOUR FREEDOM AND LIBERTY, should never have to hide what they are doing or have done to advance or advocate for such a grave punishment from public scrutiny if they are following the law. If they need to keep secrets then something is wrong. SUNLIGHT- THE BEST DISINFECTANT!

Actually, the county commissioners only enforce what does not apply in regards to state general statutes of conflict of interest, and then that is only enforced if the parties involved are poorly connected to the Center /Left Coalition of that same board of county commissioners.

Nothing is consistent with this group because real knowledge is often the first casualty when making decisions that will almost always cost the taxpayers more money for less value.

Good point, Stan. The Beaufort County Commission and Washington City Council seem to take positions at the extreme opposite ends of this statute. The county commission goes so overboard on enforcing it that they enforce it when it does not even apply. The city council does not seem to enforce it at all. Neither approach is good public policy.

The overenforecment by the county led to a service being contracted to an out of state firm for a much higher price than it was available locally (and available legally both places). The nonenforcement by the city led to an elected official being personally enriched to buy something the city really didn't have to have anyway.
