This electric rate hike comes from ONE thing, NC's Green New Deal, HB951, and we will be seeing a lot more of these if the experience of the pushing of "green energy" elsewhere is any indiciator. I guess it is called "green" energy because it takes a whole lot more "green" out of the wallets of electric ratepayers. Germany is a good example. Since Merkel's "Energy Transition" German residenntial electric rates skyrocketed with continual rate hikes until they were three times what North Carolinians pay. This is where the RINOs and Cooper are taking North Carolina and it is disgusting.

What is even more disgusting is that the local state senator, Jim Perry, was a big player in pushing this Green New Deal on North Carolina. Perry is a special interest hack who cares nothing for the consumer. This liberal RINO needs to be voted out of office next year.

You still refuse to criticize the "transgender" lynch mob that bullied Riley Gaines, Big Boob. You won't give a straight answer on that specific instance. Of course, you also jave failed to criticize the BLM / Antifa lynch mobs.

I suggest you go read the laws on background checks to buy guns. They look at mental health records as well as criminal records. With recent events, that should be expanded on the mental health side to look at gender dyshoria records.

As far as guns go, currently anyone without a felony record not living in the nut house can buy a gun. Fact.

But you support that lynch mob that assaulted Riley Gaines, Bob, and if you had been in San Francisco at the time, I'm sure you would have put on a dress and joined it. You refuse, repeatedly to condemn what that lynch mob did. That was an actual lynch mob, not the figurative ones you constantly whine about.

We have existing national gun purchase laws that require background checks, including checking on mental health issues, for buying guns. Perhaps gender dysphoria needs to be added to the mental health issues checked on.

We have also had mental health laws on the books at state level for many, many years that deal with a wide range of restrictions on those with mental health problems, including commitment to mental health facilities, and they include proper hearings with due process. Those laws were on the books long before the far left came up with their "red flag" laws that focus only on guns and almost always deny due process.

I think so. A slice of conservatives have left the republican party and really represent different values. I think a third party would be the way to go. My Dad, a big republican in his day, would be considered a RINO by most folks on the BO. A lot has changed.

This "hate speech" malarky is nothing but a dastardly scheme to suppress free speech. Look at what has been done in France under that banner. A French Senator has been indicted for tweeting "immigration kills" after a brutal murder of a young French girl by an illegal alien. Two feminist leaders have been indicted for complaining that allowing biological men into womens restrooms and locker rooms was harmful to the safety and privacy of women. A woman was arrested for calling French President Macron "a piece of filth". Imposing "hate speech" laws is an assault on democracy.
