Commented on Is it Management or Education?Republicans have not had real control of the county commission in a long time due to poseurs masquerading as "Republicans". These collaborators have handed over real control to the admitted Democrats for years. Heck, Frankie Waters even supported and contributed to the Democrat nominee for Sheriff in the last election. He is about as much of a Republican as Kamala Harris is. Randy Walker started out in the middle between the real Republicans and the phonies, but he is now firmly in collaborator camp.

Beaufort County Community College is all-in on DEI and the county commission needs to do something about that. Also, our current school board majority adopted a MATH curriculum last year that includes some DEI with two members (Hickman and Shreve) opposed. Cheeseman had previously pushed a social studies curricualum called SAVVAS that was loaded with DEI.

Commented on Is it Management or Education? What BP does not seem to grasp is that our county commission has been controlled by a trans-partisan alliance for decades that is as unnatural as a transsexual. Real Republicans like Richardson, Deatherage, and Dunn are shunted to the side. Nominal leadership is in fake Republicans, sometimes called RINOs or Undocumented Democrats or Biden Republicans or Democrats in Drag, but they rely on actual Democrats for their majority, and therefore are essentially controlled by the actual Democrats.
The two "tranny" fake Republicans propping up the current liberal trans-partisan coalition are Frankie Waters and Randy Walker. Both are former Democrats, whose "switch" to Republican was only a facade. Replacing Waters with a real Republican in the 2026 primary wil finally collapse this trans-partisan nightmare

Phil Berger is responsible for pushing this loony left climate alarmist BS in North Carolina. One expects liberal Democrats like Roy Cooper to be for it and woke idiots like Duke Energy trying to get their ESG kudos from the left, but a stab in the back to consumers from a supposed Republican like Berger is hard to take. Good thing that he has a primary next year from the popular Republican sheriff of his home county. Throw the bum OUT!

Running a town, county, or country is like running a business. We can see the success of our country under the leadership of a businessman and not another person with no business experience. We would do well to take a good look at our current City Council. Who on there now has business experience? Why do we need to raise taxes? What is this Council doing for the people of Washington after you leave Third Street? How about flooding and potholes? What are they doing to create Washington as a Bedroom Community for Greenville? Millions are spent on Main Street, but there is not enough parking. What are their plans for growth and development? I have not heard any. Maybe I missed it. Hope someone can fill in the blanks for me.

Yes, Fat Alvin needs to experience the Rule of Law as well, the same "Rule of Law" that the Democratic Socialists hypocritically opine about far too often.

Letitia James is not the only one who needs to go to jail for the Stalin Show Trials in Manhattan. Corrupt Soros DA Alvin Bragg needs to join her there, as do a couple of crooked partisan Democrat judges who abused power in those two Manhattan cases. They all need to be locked up and the key thrown away.

I find it hilarious that some are against anything involving "The Devil's Lettuce" but have no issue with keeping alcohol readily available... especially at convience stores 24/7.
I'd be more worried about one of these kids getting drunk, getting behind the wheel and killing someone than I would be about them having a Martian cigarette and commiting a serious crime. I'm in favor of legalizing natural marijuana and using the generated tax revenue on infrastructure and education. I'm not in favor of the legalization of synthetic marijuana, the artificial lab-grown crap that the kids are buying at the Arab store. I'd much rather people get a hold of the old school farm grown flower, legally, than get the modern crap grown by the government.THAT's the stuff that makes people stupid. Cannabis (full strength THC plant extract) Indica and Cannabis Sativa medicines were sold over the counter, even in Beaufort County, and in the Sears Catalog, back in the day, before prohibition.

President Trump is reportedly considering reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous drug.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Trump told attendees at a recent fundraiser in New Jersey that he was interested in pursuing this change. The Biden administration had begun moving toward the change but left office before putting it into effect. Such a shift would greatly ease the buying and selling of marijuana, boosting profitability in the multibillion-dollar industry. www.thegatewaypundit.com Is this true, not true, only time will tell. The way I look at it drugged people are easier to control. Look at what they do to children who are being children they drug them to more easily control them. The elderly in nursing homes that don't obey every order, they drug them so they can more easily control them.

Commented on Is it Management or Education?Van Zant: You bring up several interesting points that I would recommend folks to think long and hard about. Ain't none of it a crackpot "conspiracy theory"; it's called: "common sense".
From what my intuition and situational awareness skills are telling me, Cheeseman's consolidation "pump and dump" plan could easily go to hell in a handbasket if county communities started approaching commissioners with proposals to secure their future...where both sides benefit. I could see a funny hypothetical scenario where even guys like Ol' Unca Frankie would champion (in his olde English accent), under the Republican/NASCAR Democrat banner, "Charter Schools for the soundside and Edgewater parts of the county". If he holds course, folks are liable to start talking crap over'air at the fire department if they see him out there. Cheeseman is past the point of no return. I think Rader and Hickman knows this. If the public opinion were to shift on Cheeseman, I have a good idea about what'd happen

Agreed 100%. Please examine what legalized recreational weed has done to the mean intellect of the people of Colorado, Washington State, California, New York, etc.
And what do they all have in common? These fools all voted for the stupidest politicians in America's history; in other words ... Weed unabated is a terrible ingredient for a Self Governed People.

Commented on Is it Management or Education?CT: A lot of the Snowden students are going over to the charter school in Pamlico County this year instead of taking the long trip to Chocowinity. A much larger number were already going to the Arapahoe Charter School, not because Snowden was bad, but because of the uncertain future of SW Snowden, purposely created by the Beaufort County School leadership. What happened leading up to the Snowden closure was not a reaction but a planned action by leadership. I think this public-school trend to consolidate just may eventually lead to the self-destruction of public schools. It will serve them right.

We really need to get these abusive insurrectionist Biden and Obama judges removed from office. They have made our federal courts a cesspool of political scandal.
Of course, we have another problem in the Senate Democrats stalling Trump's judicial appointments. Republicans did not do that systematically to Biden or Obama judicial appointees. That RINO idiot Thune should have cancelled the Senate's August months long recess to deal with it, but the stupid RINO fool did not. Thune needs to be replaced by someone with some backbone.

Paxton is great as AG. No wonder the Democrats and RINOs have always tried to put a target on his back. He will be a great US Senator from Texas, much better than that RINO weasel John Cornyn, who Paxton is leading in the polls for the primary.

Commented on Is it Management or Education? The old Bear Grass public school was a victim of public school consolidation, but now as a charter school it is thriving and offering the best education in Martin County. If Cheeseman is arrogant enough to go after Bath school, I am absolutely certain the same would happen there. It would serve Chesseman right if it happened at Snowden.

Commented on Is it Management or Education?I would say that there's more former Beaufort County students enrolled there than anyone on the board, except for Ol' Hickman and Uncle Steve, would want to admit.
Most parents I've talked with who've also moved their kids to BGCS from the area have no intention of ever bringing our children back into the political s***show that the Beaufort County public education system has become. We're even actively pursuing permanently relocating to the Bear Grass community BECAUSE of the future it holds for our children as well as our families. The home prices in Beaufort County, primarily in Washington, are insanely overpriced. The latest property tax increase, due to the construction of two useless mega-monolith indoctrination facilities, and the fact that there's not a lot of good paying industry jobs, have both been the biggest bullets to the head of Beaufort County. Smart/concerned parents have had enough and they're making a statement to school board members who cover up truth
