If they needed a museum why didn’t the city include that with the building of the new police station? That would of been a good location?

It has consistently voted against NC citizens and for insurers and large hospital systems. Interesting that the postcard says "cut government red tape" while the DHS is asking for more money to accommodate more Medicaid recipients. And the Legislature, DHS and Big Medicine have all studiously avoided addressing the $1 Billion in fraud in NC Medicaid. Only the taxpayers suffer.

Like our friends at UNC AFSA, as a public university we are making progress. We also have a pro free speech, anti-CRT/DEI advocate in Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Public Sector workers, who are about the ONLY group still accruing service credits towards a Defined Benefit (DB) pension LONG GONE in the Private Sector. And guess what ..... RARELY do all of the workers' own contributions to that DB pension Plan (INCLUDING all of the investment earnings on their contributions) accumulate to a sum upon retirement sufficient to buy more than about 15 % of their VERY VERY generous pension. YOU, the Taxpayers, are responsible for the OTHER 85%, as well as funding 100% of your own retirement security needs (perhaps very marginally reduced by no more than a 3% of pay 401K contribution from your employer).
Sound fair to YOU, the Taxpayer ?
Of course not, and it's WAY past time for Taxpayers to demand an end to this you-scratch-my-back-and-I'll-scratch-yours arrangement between our Elected Officials and the Public Sector Unions/Workers, wherein the former SELL

To put a time limit on such a serious thing is to limit the amount of time it takes to present evidence and they seemed to be in too big a hurry to conclude it
