Last time I made a comment I used an alias and everyone knew who I was and had my name published because of the person running this papers bias. Hood, I read your comment and I have important comments. #1: You are talking flippantly about “The pearly gates” when you yourself said that I follow a “mythical creature” who you referred God to. So please… don’t use God & Godly mentions or referrals of Him in your political spins!! You only talk about “religious things” when you want people to have a reverence for you and your opinion. You’re loosing your grip on people whose eyes are being opened to you. When I read part of this I agreed, educating people on the importance of local politics was awesome. Hats off to you. But that quickly turned to my head spinning from the “crap” & lies you’re telling people about the only true BC Republican GOP in NC. I have attended these meetings & it was NOT stated like you said. Unfortunately, in Beaufort County, we have limited voting when it comes to the commissioner’s race. There were 3 Republicans and 1 Democrat running. This limits many things. The PAC decided to go after the Republican candidate and the Democrat didn’t have to spend a dime. I’m sure he appreciated the work of the PAC. Maybe the Beaufort County Republican Party needs to go through an endorsement process??? We saw the Beaufort County Republican Party out there every day working hard for Republicans. Yes, they helped all Republicans. I may just need to start attending the Republican Party meetings. I have been to two PAC meetings and it was disgraceful the way Hood talked to people and talked about people. It was an angry, bitter room.

Hood’s PAC used almost all the funds they raised to attack fellow Republicans and to reimburse himself for copies, etc. Didn’t work too well for them. The Republican Party donated money to the candidate for sheriff, Supreme Court candidates, school board candidates, and had boots on the ground from beginning to end. You know you are spreading misinformation and not the whole story. It’s unfortunate that Stan has tied himself so closely with Hood, but time will tell the impact on each one. I would suggest responses be screenshot. Wishing everyone a good day. God bless. Hood would not even pay $10 for a plate of bbq to support the Republican candidate for sheriff.

The Beaufort County Republican Party supported all Republican candidates during the past election. I saw the Beaufort County Republican Party at the Board of Elections working for all candidates. I’m surprised charges for party disloyalty charges have not been brought against you. I pray that God will come into your heart and remove the hate and anger that resides within you. I seem to remember that the husband/wife members you are speaking of were just part of the ballot and they were reelected. If this was such an issue, should this have not been looked at prior to the election? I had been following the page for a while, but it seems that recently it is just targeted attacks at certain individuals.

While Beaufort County must contribute $10 million, the project is estimated to be under its $52 million budget. Other counties are moving forward with similar projects - Martin County is building a new high school and Washington County recently opened a K-12 school. Why should Beaufort County return this grant money and miss the opportunity to improve our infrastructure?
Having volunteered at Eastern Elementary, I've witnessed firsthand why replacement is necessary. I encourage those that oppose the building to spend a day reading to some of the children to experience the classrooms and the building for themselves. The concerns about cross-town busing are unfounded given the compact size of the city school district. Most Eastern Elementary students live nearby, and this commute is notably shorter than what high school students already manage with their extended schedules.
A more pressing concern is the suspicious timing of the four-acre property ownership change, which was close to the timing of the grant award. Why has that been discussed by the commissioners?

People in hazmat, desperately spraying to fight a new virus. Some men tested, they played a board game, others watched, during the short break. When noticed, they were put on screen, asking forgiveness for getting rest and enjoyment while others suffered. Clearly terrified, they knew they made huge social mistake. The 20 or so men, arrested and probably sent to prison or just shot, for not following the leader. People crying, trying to reach out windows as they became a prison. Food delivered, no escape. A girl climbed out window, 4th floor. Barefoot, nightgown, she did not expect emptiness,nothing but her. Words, books, music, so simple until it is not. Regaining Freedom, horribly hard. I used a word removed from book. Liberty needs People NOT Party.

For De Santos to declare Russia to be less hostile than China is perplexing. Has China mentioned sending Nukes our direction?
