BCCC students receive internet technology, computer certifications | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Eleven Beaufort County Community College Information Technology students recently completed their course-work and received certification from TestOut Corp., a leader in online laboratories for colleges and internet technology professionals. The students earned the TestOut Network Pro Certification and the TestOut PC Certification after completing 90-minute exams that consisted of a combination of questions and computer simulations relating to the computer networking and personal computer environments.

    "The TestOut Certification is evidence of one's ability to perform real-world tasks using an IBM-compatible personal computer and the Windows operating system and common networking hardware," said Wesley Shelton, Networking Basics Instructor. "BCCC is proud of these students for reaching this milestone in their career preparation."
