    This weekend is the 31st Annual Washington Summer Festival presented by the Chamber and Potash-Corp Aurora. Attached is the schedule of events for the weekend.

    Dockdogs will be jumping all weekend starting on Friday morning at 10:00am with the Championship on Sunday. The Symphony will be back on Sunday with a free concert at 7:30. Come out early to hear the Emerald City Big Band at 5:30 and join us for a Meet the Conductor Reception which starts at 5:30 on Sunday which includes great food and beverages and a reserved seat at the Symphony.

    Please note - in case of bad weather on Sunday the Meet the Conductor Reception will be held at The Meeting Place and the Symphony Concert will be in the Washington High School Auditorium.

RALEIGH: Today, Governor Roy Cooper and North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (NCDNCR) Secretary Reid Wilson celebrated Earth Day by visiting Goose Creek State Park in Washington.
Washington, N.C. – The inaugural Rivers East Advanced Manufacturing Academy took place at Pitt Community College on Friday, September 23rd.
Please join us at the park visitor center on Saturday, October 8th from 3-5 pm where we will host a Halloween Wildlife Event.
