WELCOME ABOARD!

By:  The Eastern Carolina Avenger

Ahoy Eastern North Carolina!  It is I, the Eastern Carolina Avenger, here to sail the seas of truth bringing insight into current events, pop culture, politics and more!  The EC Avenger gives no quarter and expects none in return.  Do you wish to fill your chest with the bounty of truth and knowledge?  Weigh anchor and join the crew in our tireless quest for enlightenment.

I was born and raised in Barbados, but my parents sent me away to Oxford in England to receive a formal education.  Returning home, I grew restless managing the family farm and yearned for a life filled with adventure.  I signed on with a Dutch merchantman and began a life at sea.  Not satisfied with being a mere seaman, I saved my earnings, purchased the leakiest brig I could find, hired a crew, lashed a few cannons to the main deck and set off in search of the Fount of Knowledge.

Look out for more messages in a bottle as I regale you with future stories of the escapades of The EC Avenger!
