    Raleigh, N.C. — The Office of Governor Pat McCrory announced the following appointments today:

North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

  • Angela Hunter (Nash County) — Hunter has been a physical therapist for 32 years providing therapy in hospitals, home health, skilled nursing facilities and private practice. She currently owns her own practice, Physical Therapy for Women's Health, located in Rocky Mount.
  • Christopher Dunn (Wake County) — Dunn has been a physical therapist for over 25 years. He currently owns his own practice, Dunn Physical Therapy, which has locations in Cary, Apex, and Raleigh.
  • JoDell King (Harnett County) — King is a physical therapy assistant at Carolina Physical Therapy & Associates in Dunn.

    The board establishes and maintains minimum standards for the practice of physical therapy. The term length is three years.

Roanoke-Chowan Community College Board of Trustees

  • Daniel Smith (Hertford County) — Pastor Smith resides in Ahoskie and is the founder and pastor at Ahoskie Christian Center Church. Smith is filling an unexpired at-large seat.

    Board duties are to elect the president, employ personnel, purchase land necessary for the operation of the college, apply standards for admission and graduation, receive gifts and donations, provide for the administration of all educational and occupational services, and to establish or enter into public or private partnerships for the support of the institution. The term length is four years.
