I guess I don't have a lot of problem with Early Voting in Presidential Elections. The State of Georgia always sets it up so that we can beat the crowds on Election Day by voting early & I will probably be one of those who do vote early.

Having said the above, it did kind of make me sad to hear a radio commentator say what he said about early voting recently. The "Intelligent" Talking Head said a reason for voting early was the fact that it might be Raining on Election Day.

What kind of country would we have today if any number of great patriots and lovers of freedom had stayed home and not done what they did because it happened to raining that day?

Picture this with your mind's eye (whatever that is)...

By golly, General Washington, don't feel bad. It really looked like it was going to rain. Heck, ye ole weatherman did forecast that it was going to be a real frog strangler at Yorktown yesterday. What else could you have done but stay home and wait for the next time that the British would be trapped like they would have been trapped if only the weatherman had not given you such bad advice. Cheer up, old boy. We will get them next time for sure.

    Would I kid u?
