‘Carolina Comeback’ plays out in N.C. economic, state budget numbers



    If Gov. Pat McCrory’s “Carolina Comeback” exists, the evidence should rest in North Carolina’s economic and state budget data.

    State Budget Director Andrew Heath made the case for the “Comeback” during a presentation Monday to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society. In the video clip above, Heath spells out key data points that support the argument that North Carolina’s economy has improved substantially in the last three years.
