N.C. State expert assesses Trump’s deal-making record as president



    One of President Trump’s selling points as a candidate in 2016 was his proven ability to make deals. He had authored a 1987 bestseller, The Art of the Deal.

    N.C. State University political scientist Andrew Taylor has examined Trump’s record over the past two years. He looked for signs of the president’s deal-making skills. Taylor shared his analysis during a presentation Monday for the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
