Press Release:

RALEIGH, NC     NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley announced today that Jason Doré has been hired and began work as the new Executive Director for the North Carolina Republican Party.

"We are excited to announce that we are bringing on Jason Dore as the new Executive Director for the North Carolina Republican Party," said NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley. "Jason brings the experience we need to help North Carolina Republicans win this November."

Doré earned his law degree from Louisiana State University in 2007 and began working at the Republican Party of Louisiana shortly after. As Political and Communications Director for the state Republican Party, Louisiana Republicans experienced historical gains in the State Legislature and statewide offices. Doré left to work in the law for nearly a decade. He later returned to the Republican Party of Louisiana, where he worked for over six years, making him the longest-serving Executive Director of a Republican State Party. Before moving to Raleigh, Doré served as Head of the Office of Information at the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy in Washington D.C.

"I am excited to join Chairman Whatley's team at the NC GOP for this historic time in our nation and state's history. The outcome of this year's North Carolina elections will not only impact the future of our North Carolina, but our great nation for years to come. I look forward to working hand in hand with Republican activists, officials and voters to make North Carolina a deep red state in November," said Jason Doré.

The North Carolina Republican Party has also hired Tim Wigginton to fill the press secretary position and Nzinga Johnson to serve as a Communications Assistant. Mr. Wigginton worked for the Republican opposition research group America Rising since 2015 and served on several Virginia campaigns. Nzinga Johnson recently worked for Blacks to Reelect the President and worked as the campaign manager for Roger Allison for Congress.
