CMS Receives Donation

The "Women's Club of Cypress Landing" recognizes the value of education to the economic growth of our community. In keeping with their belief in the importance of supporting this growth, the ladies provided a generous donation to Chocowinity Middle School to be used for buying classroom supplies for teachers. The staff at CMS greatly appreciates the support we receive from our community partners, and we thank "The Cypress Landing Women's Club" for everything they do for us each year.
Two representatives from the Women's Club present CMS Principal Dale Cole with the club's donation to be used for classroom supplies.

On May 25, as a part of Beaufort County Schools Character Education program, Chocowinity Middle School congratulated its character education winners for the month of May. The character trait for the month was Self-Discipline. Students and parents were invited to the cafeteria for an afternoon snack of ice cream sandwiches while Principal Dale Cole read the nomination for each student. Winners for the month were Kiara Cannon, elementary school, and Lillie Gray, middle school.
