Press Release:

Jack Dugan, BCCC's new Small Business Director, Dr. Stacey Gerard, BCCC VP of Continuing Education, and Keith Hudson, PBRC Director.

WASHINGTON, NC    Beaufort County Community College Small Business Center (BCCC SBC) and the Pamlico Business Resource Center (PBRC) are collaborating to support their mutual goals of increasing the number of viable small businesses and developing a healthy entrepreneurial community in Beaufort County. This new collaboration will increase the impact of BCCC SBC and PBRC in their efforts to create more businesses, jobs, investment, resilience, and an increased tax base in Beaufort County.

Together, the BCCC SBC and PBRC will partner to offer several new Small Business Owner Empowerment Programs developed by the Pamlico Business Resource Center, including one-on-one entrepreneurial mentoring and opportunities for small business owners to meet with small business development experts starting in 2023.

This new collaboration will increase the reach and scope of the SBC's and PBRC's small business consulting services that help address new business ideas and concerns, start-ups, and support for new and troubled businesses.

PBRC will become a guest client counselor for the BCCC SBC to help serve downtown Washington and increase accessibility across Beaufort County.

More details on these joint programs will be announced early in 2023. For more information, contact Keith Hudson, PBRC Director, at 252-833-0137 or Jack Dugan, BCCC SBC Director, at 252-940-6306.
