‘Based’ Woody Harrelson Ridicules COVID ‘Drug Cartels’ And Lockdowns On ‘SNL’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Woody Harrelson delivered a zinger ridiculing COVID lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and pharmaceutical companies during the latest episode of "Saturday Night Live."

    The actor, hosting NBC's sketch comedy show for the fifth time, elicited a few nervous laughs from the audience in New York City in wrapping up a freewheeling monologue about a movie script idea just before the onset of the COVID pandemic.

    "The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes, and people can only come out if they take the cartel's drugs - and keep taking them - over and over," Harrelson said.

    "I threw the script away," Harrelson quipped before circling back to his penchant for smoking marijuana.

    "I mean who is going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day long," he continued.

    Harrelson's introduction quickly got social media abuzz with people sounding off in support and against the actor.

    "Yes, Woody Harrelson went full anti-vax conspiracy theorist during his SNL Monologue tonight," tweeted Rolling Stone senior entertainment editor Marlow Stern.

    Others, including Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), called Harrelson, a fellow Texan and COVID lockdown critic, "based," which is a phrase that describes someone who isn't afraid to share an opinion for fear of offending others.

    Harrelson previously made waves when he told Vanity Fair his view on people being forced to wear face masks on set during the pandemic. "As one who doesn't believe in the germ theory, I find it rather absurd," he said.

    During his monologue Saturday night, Harrelson described himself as "anarchist, Marxist, ethical hedonist, nondiscriminatory empath, epistemological deconstructionist, [and] Texan."

Considering the irrefutable fact that the Left /the Democratic Socialists, beginning in March of 2020, employed the repetitive use of the Covid Pandemic as a political cudgel to wrest a presidential election, where their candidate rarely left his basement, from a frightened and beaten down citizenry of this Representative Republic: What does your knowledge NOW, in hindsight, aid in your understanding of the motives of the Authoritarian Left?

  The "Left" cares about all Democratics, so it was imperative that we do whatever it took to elect a lifelong politician to become that Democratic Socialist to forever change US.

  Pandemics are serious business, where our leaders must use wisdom and practicable efforts of all that serve to protect the public from not only the pandemic, but these ignoble usurpers of the Left.

  I lost almost everything in the Covid Pandemic, and I want justice; a justice where only the truth prevails, and the rampant fraud that is now legend is remedied.
