Is it the Twilight Zone or Another Foggy Bottom? | Eastern North Carolina Now

Recent political events and behaviors are un-nerving at best and scary at worst.  Having an incompetent, if not mentally challenged person who could be guilty of treason at worst and taking bribes at best along with hundreds of Senators and Congressmen who refuse to take action, is bringing on a mental depression.  The opening of our borders to the unqualified, uneducated and undeserving of the entire world brings on more anxiety. Then there is the Trump situation. Is everyone crazy or am I floating in some suspended state of mind, maybe a bad dream?

Presuming I am still connected to reality, it is in the best interest of those of us who are still normal to critically think our way out of this dilemma.  Acting harshly or overtly or violently will certainly set us back.  These kinds of behaviors are what our enemies are looking for.  They are hoping (they are not praying because they are not religious at all)  that we will make some serious mistakes that will allow them to use the (Marshall) law on us to install their socialist/communist dictatorship.  Our hearts and souls will be tried many times from now until after November of 2024.

With the chief Communist, Barak Obama, running the White house (His former staff are in charge) you can rest assured there are plans to take the 2024 presidency by strong arm robbery should the Democrats accidently lose the election.  Be aware they have plans to stuff the ballot boxes.

We, the loyal, Christian citizens still have some tools to start turning this nation back toward the Constitution and our Christian ethics.  “Christian ethics” is the correct term.  This nation was founded by Christians who used the teaching of the Bible to craft our form of government.  Please do not be gullible and buy into the Socialist/Communist definition of the separation of church and state.  All the Constitution ever said was the government could not establish a state religion.  It never implied religion to be evil.

We can still vote to change leadership from the dog catcher to the President.  It is important to change leadership because those who now hold office have put us in harm’s way.  It is important to remove those who have not stood up for our conservative values and replace them with rock ribbed conservatives who are both Christian and brave.  All voters should make a harsh judgment about elected officials.  The tendency is to be kind to that politician who has appeared to be neutral, who took no action or voted against us.  It is more important to judge that politician on whether he took action for us.  Neutral is the same as Jesus Christ’s teaching about water being neither hot or cold and is to be spewed from our mouth.  We know that water that is either cold or hot has little chance of carrying germs that will make us sick.  However, warm water is required for germs to flourish.  Get rid of those neutral, luke warm politicians.  They are the carrier of germs.

We have now entered the fish or cut bait part of the 2024 elections.  In order to be placed on a political party ballot for the 2024 primary elections, one must have been registered to vote by political party by sooner than 90 days before they register to run for office.  That time is over.  Unaffiliated (independent) voters who want to run in the 2024 elections must now submit a petition signed by a certain number of voters in order to be on the ballot.  From now until the end of candidate registration, during middle December, political parties can recruit only those who are now registered to vote in their respective party.

The Beaufort County Conservative Club, and hopefully others across the entire United States, are recruiting candidates to replace at least 90 percent of those who now hold office.  Only ten percent of the elected officials from the dog catcher to the President of the United States have stood up for “truth, justice and the American way”.  Considering the twilight zone or foggy bottom we are now in, the 2024 election should be a throw the bums out election year.

The municipal elections are our first opportunity to make important changes.  We need to send a message by participating in those elections and rolling out those who have not stood for conservative Christian values.  Remember the rule, if you are not sure, vote him out.

Distractions put up by the crooked press and the Democrats have led us away from our Constitutional principles, our Christian Religion and morals.  Our society has become infected with drugs and welfare.  We need drastic change in government.  Changing the people who are running government is the only way to do it.

We have commissioners, who, during the past year have voted to remove the Confederate Memorial from Arlington National Cemetery and want to start government sponsored housing programs in Beaufort County. 

Commissioner Randy Walker voted to allow the Confederate Monument to be torn down.  Commissioner John Rebholz along with Randy Walker is trying to find a way for the government to provide “affordable housing” in Beaufort County. 

There are numerous reasons for the government not to become involved in providing housing.  Public housing leads to more socialism and fewer people working.  Why should your tax money provide a house for anyone. Let them work for it the same way the rest of us did.  There is always corruption around these schemes with a few people being favored as builders, suppliers of materials and labor and especially those who get a house with little effort on their own.  These two financial geniuses have forgotten that in capitalist society markets correct themselves. The price of housing will come down as soon as the Federal Government stops sending all those checks.  Ask Rebholtz and Walker what provision in the U. S. Constitution gives the Federal government the authority to provide “affordable housing.”
