NC FBLA State Leadership Conference | Eastern North Carolina Now

News Release:

    These Washington High School students attended the 59th annual NC FBLA State Leadership Conference, at the Koury Center, Greensboro, NC, April 16th – 19th 2013.

    McKenzie Worley (BR 3rd from left) was elected Eastern Region Vice-President for the 2013/2014 school year. This is McKenzie’s 2nd term as E. Region VP. McKenzie will travel with the NC FBLA State Officer team to represent NC at the FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC), in June, 2013, at Anaheim, CA.

    Will Blake (FR 1st from left) won 1st Place in Cyber Security. Will qualified to compete at the NLC.

    Mary Brauer (FR 4th from the left) finished 3rd in Personal Finance and also qualified to compete at the NLC. Mary also participated in open testing events for Personal Finance and Microsoft Office and scored proficient (above 80%) in both events.

    Erin Lewis (FR 3rd from left) made the finals in Public Speaking I and finished 4th overall in the state.
