X owner Elon Musk ripped companies this week that are boycotting advertising on his social media platform after a recent post of his generated controversy.

Musk was accused of supporting anti-Semitism with a poorly worded tweet that he posted several days ago, which he later clarified when he expanded upon his remark. He was subsequently defended by multiple high profile Jewish figures who said that they did not believe that he was anti-Semitic.

The post led to the political Left pressuring multiple companies into boycotting advertisements on X, including Disney, Paramount, NBCUniversal, Comcast, Lionsgate, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Musk was asked about the boycott during an interview Wednesday on stage at The New York Times Dealbook Summit 2023 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

"I hope they stop," Musk said about the companies who were boycotting. "Don't advertise."

"You don't want them to advertise?" the host asked.

"No," Musk said. "If somebody's gonna try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f*** yourself. Go. F***. Yourself. Is that clear? I hope it is. Hey, Bob, I'm sure you're in the audience."

When asked about X's business model and what he should do about the company depending on advertising from companies, Musk responded: "G.F.Y."

"What this advertising boycott is going to do is it's going to kill the company," he said. "And the whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company and we will document it in great detail."

When the host said that advertisers will blame Musk, Musk responded: "Oh, yeah? Tell it to earth."

"But they're going to say, 'Elon, you killed the company because you said these things, and that they were inappropriate things. And they didn't feel comfortable on the platform.'"

"And let's see how Earth responds to that," Musk responded.

Where do you stand on the wanton censorship by Big Tech Platforms, while retaining their Section 230 carveout indemnifying them for Slander /Defamation lawsuits and Copyright infringements?
Big Tech Platforms have the right to Censor all speech providing they voluntarily relinquish their Section 230 Carveout.
Big Tech Platforms DO NOT have the right to Censor any speech, while retaining multiple indemnifications by virtue of the Section 230 Carveout.
I know nothing of this 230 talk, but "I do love me some social media".

It has been far too many years since the Woke theology interlaced its canons within the fabric of the Indoctrination Realm, so it is nigh time to ask: Does this Representative Republic continue, as a functioning society of a self-governed people, by contending with the unusual, self absorbed dictates of the Woke, and their vast array of Victimhood scenarios?
Yes, the Religion of Woke must continue; there are so many groups of underprivileged, underserved, a direct result of unrelenting Inequity; they deserve everything.
No; the Woke fools must be toppled from their self-anointed pedestal; a functioning society of a good Constitutional people cannot withstand this level of "existential" favoritism as it exists now.
I just observe; with this thoughtful observation: What will happen "when the Vikings are breeching our walls;" how do the Woke react?
