A new mega poll, with detailed seat by seat analysis conducted for the liberal international group More in Common predicts a massive shift to the right in the next British election. The governing leftwing Labour Party would suffer massive losses as the populist nationalist anti-immigration Reform Party emerges as the largest in parliament.
The poll and its associated analysis predicts that Reform, led by Brexit hero Nigel Farage, would win 180 seats, up from the 4 they won in the last election. The two major traditional parties, the Conservatives and Labour would be tied for second place with 165 seats each. That would represent a gain of 44 seats by the Conservatives and a massive loss of 246 seats, including those of ten members of the cabinet, for Labour.
As always in British politics, there would also be a smattering of seats for smaller parties, Scottish Nationalists, Welsh nationalists, various Northern Ireland parties, Liberal Democrats, and Greens.

Polls have also tipped Reform to win a by-election (special election) for what has been a Labour safe seat in parliament to be held in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, in Germany, a second poll has confirmed that the populist nationalist anti-immigration right Alternativ fur Deutschland (AfD) is now Germany's most popular party, leading the traditional right CDU which just won an election but is now joining a coalition with the leftist SPD.

This is about the working and middle classes rebelling against entrenched elites. Let's hope that Reform continues to grow in strength because a strong UK is definitely to the benefit of the US.

It is not just immigration. The backlash against Climate Alarmism has risen rapidly in the UK after Labour's draconian Net Zero program was implemented, which will cost ordinary Brits a bundle in their own pocketbooks. Conservatives have announced a plan reining in the most expensive parts, but the Reform Party, which has always called Net Zero "Net Stupid" wants to cancel it in its entirety. They also blame the Conservatives for starting the Net Zero project in the first place. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson's then girlfriend, and now wife, was and is a big climate activist.
Immigration is part of what is driving the Reform Party's surge but so is the backlash to climate alarmism and Net Zero. |

Illegal immigration is a huge issue in British politics, with the Reform Party saying that neither the Conservative nor Labour parties have been effective in stopping it. It is what is driving Reform's political dominance.
