New staff announced from the Office of Lt. Governor, Dan Forest.

    Lt. Governor Dan Forest named the hiring of the following staff:

   •  Steven Walker to serve as General Counsel and Policy Director

   •  Kami Mueller to serve as Director of Communications

   •  Rebekah Bradley to serve as Assistant to the Chief of Staff

    Steven Walker is the former Principal and Founder of Walker Law Firm, PLLC. He also formerly worked as a research assistant/law clerk in the chambers of Associate Justice Edward Thomas Brady of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Walker graduated from Clemson University and Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Walker is married to his high school sweetheart, Martha, and they have four children. They attend Parrish Memorial Baptist Church in Selma, North Carolina, where Steven also serves as the pastor. Walker is the General Counsel and Policy Director for the office.

    Kami Mueller is the former New Media Manager at branding and design firm, RARE Design. Mueller is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she also completed her Masters Degree with an emphasis in political communications. She is the daughter of Harry and Kristin Mueller and is originally from Yorktown, Indiana. In her role as Director of Communications, Mueller will handle all media relations and communications for the office.

    Rebekah Bradley formerly worked in the Office of Senator Gunn. Bradley also formerly worked in the Office of Lieutenant Governor as an intern. She is currently a senior at North Carolina State University where she is finishing up her political science degree and also serves as Chairman of the NCSU College Republicans. She is a native of Waynesville, NC and is the daughter of David and Michelle Bradley. Bradley is the Assistant to the Chief of Staff and will be working part-time until her expected graduation date in May.
