Mrs. Annette Moore Mayo, age 76, a resident of Wilmar, NC died Sunday July 4, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, following a short battle with her health.

Columbus area residents are going to get to be the first in the state to experience North Carolina's new mobile DMV office. The office, which carries two driver license examiner stations, is part of Governor Pat McCrory's initiative to improve customer service and reduce wait times at the DMV.
