Governor Pat McCrory has appointed Charlotte attorney John Bowers to the North Carolina Superior Court. Bowers will take the seat of Judge H. William Constangy, who served as a Resident Superior Court judge for district 26-B in Mecklenburg County until his retirement on August 31, 2014.
