There were several changes to this afternoon’s forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) which included in a slower track along North Carolina’s coastline.

Please find current updated PDF from the NWS Newport. The only caution I would give is that if the track moves our way 20 miles we will see more snow than freezing rain or sleet.

It has been a very busy day for everyone today, however, the next storm is coming. The NWS has issued the enclosed Winter Storm Watch, which includes Beaufort County, and is issued 24-36 hours prior to the arrival of a Winter Storm.
