Two Issues here that would cause some concern for me if I was a Watauga County resident that cared about self-governance: 1. Districts made up of demonstrably smaller populations; 2. Watauga is predominately a Leftist county, and we all well know, the Left has a history of understanding incredibly that "The means justifies the ends."

The Beaufort County School Board has made a conscious decision, under this administration to make communication by transparency an extremely low priority, and in particular here in the digital space.

It is a long and tortured story, and what bothers me, as a public person and as somewhat of a journalist by public need, it is the long story about the abject failure of education, mainly public education, here in our Representative Republic.

Many corrections must be made, and the backsliding that far too often we see here locally is not helpful. As far as educational funding is concerned, the public would be best serve to fund what education that works best.

The Snowden debacle was truly a terrible example of intellectual malfeasance.

Adam O'Neal believes that local governments should operate in a conservative manner; Adam takes the initiative to help elect sworn conservative candidates, many are proven conservatives, not the frauds offered protection by the Beaufort County GOP; and Adam does not hate Commissioner Hood Richardson.

Somewhere in that proposition offered of political opposites fighting, there are those individuals that DO NOT understand Adam O'Neal (and others like Adam); his methods; nor his pledge to Conservative governing, whereas many of these same people also do not particularly like Hood Richardson.

That is just the way it has been in Beaufort County since Democrats started to switch to the Republican Party to run for elected office, and then govern, once elected, as full fledged Democrats, all with the fulsome support of the Beaufort County GOP.

I actually hate that statement of qualification of work, because only Liberals, Leftists and RINOs ever state that premise that suggests some work is either not honorable, or too physically arduous for some people to participate in by gaining a skill, or money to sustain themselves from performing a valuable service, which of course was the natural order of life until the Obama /Biden Administration.

If you think about it, much changed during the Obama /Biden administrations, and it is frightening for our society because many of the terrible systemic societal problems that exist among the Leftists began then, when the "ultra cool" Barack Hussein Obama was elected in 2008, which lent much credence to the grand stupidity of the "Social Justice Warrior."
