81.82% Our self-governed people, and their properly restored institutions, under President Trump, must discover the root causes to properly correct, and save our Constitutional Republic.

BT: Jackets. Clean Cut. Peaceful. I guess 1966. I should have deleted the LOST CAUSE statement. All wars produce trained leadership for our next war and there will always be a next war. There I go again. I am not a Hawk or Dove. I defer to Combat Vet's judgement. I was in the War Zone but at Sea. Our loses were pilots down and industrial accidents like blowing the flight deck off. But no face to face combat.

Vet eMail: During the first of Monsoon in Vietnam 1968. I jumped out of the helicopter just like the guys in the picture. I landed in a bomb crater that was just slightly over my head and sank like a rock in the water. I had to unload all my gear and swim to the top. It was just deep enough to be over my head. I had to go back and retrieve my gear.
We all got a good laugh from that and I eventually learned how to gauge the depth of the water by watching the prop wash from the Huey.

Land Navigation: Here is a crude hand drawn range map. You are given a Start point, Azimuth, Distance, Map, and Compass . You do not have the layout map as shown. When you exit, you mark down the end point on your range card and the grade is based on how close you come to the designated end point.
Navigating through the territory is not as simple as walking on a straight 30 degree direction. Obstructions and terrain provide barriers that must either be avoided, or circumvented. The scale not visible on this drawing shows distance.

PTSD in VN was minimized by short (1 Yr) combat duty. Usually, 6 mo. field and 6 mo administrative assignments (mail room, etc). The new replacements were then facing an enemy with 20 years combat experience (Japan, France, then USA). This long war (8 years) produced too many Vets for a system designed for standard wars (4 years). That is my opinion.

The Separatist Movement in Alabama has been active for a long time. The problem is long borders. Something like the UK might work. Quebec cooperates with Canada. Return of States Rights is the quickest way to ease tensions.
