Two things: I agree with term limits for congress, but that is a Constitutional issue. But thank God is only bound by two terms. With the proclivity of 'low information' voters in America, he could get elected a third time.

He can be obnoxious, but still right, and that is all that really matters.

Actually, he is the president - for 6 1/3 years. This is his America, and yours.

A dystopia far, far away.

I dig science fiction, but I dig Earth more.

We have to make it work here, but this is a time of good vs bad, and a time of warriors for the home team.

If the home team fails, you lose your warriors, and all that remains is tribal anarchy.

Liberals beware of your designs. You have the great capacity to destroy much and very quickly. Baltimore is a fine example, Ferguson a smaller example of such.

Good work Young Maye. You made me think.

Learn World History and learn Math, quit whining about 'Hate', drop the liberal buzz speak, and you might have a chance to begin to stop being a Liberal ("Not the there is anything wrong with that").

Emory's fine as far as colleges go, but Emory is no different than graduating from most anywhere else, or learning real information from actually performing in a continual excellent manner.

I just think you would be wise not laud Emory, and some of your past professors, as most special for some of us will know better.
Commented: Sunday, May 17th, 2015 @ 8:53 pm By: Stan Deatherage
I don't care about college. I learn stuff everyday, and that is why I know collectively more than many college professors, and it really should not be that way, but, sadly, it is.

My advice to everyone is to not put so much faith in your school that you may have been fortunate enough to graduate from. People, who discuss their school as if it is this bastion of ultimate wisdom - like none other - are some of the most shallow, and poorly informed people I have ever met, and it does not matter where they graduated from.

The educated folks that I take my proverbial hat off to are: the engineers, the doctors, the mathematicians, the chemists, the molecular biologists, the physicists, the West Point, the Annapolis, the Air Force grads - these are my intellectual heroes.

They make a real difference, and that is just a plain fact.

Well, it ain't working.

Every student of world history knows that. But, I guess they didn't teach the reality of world history at your dear Emory.

The curious aspect to the killing of these two would be murderous Muslims, clothed in body armor and brandishing assault rifles, is that we still do not know the name of the singular hero, who took out both of these members of the Mohamed Death Militia, probably with head shots.

This guy is a city cop and a true American hero. I am thankful for that shield of blue, and especially the best of them, as this unnamed man is.

I'm with you and Wyatt on this one, Bobby.

Has to be my favorite Steinbeck work, along with "Grapes of Wrath".

Plus, I love Gary Sinise and John Malkovich. Stand up guys.

Eric Holder is a disgusting example of the privilege of affirmative action, whose action to pay everyone back for his false advancement was to become the nation's top racist and cop hater.

Because of his lies, his deceits, for his abject illegal behavior as America's top Democrat lawyer, he should have been impeached at least 3 years ago.

Kind of like the new county jail you support without a General Obligation Bond in Beaufort County.

Me thinks you should never cast stones over any taxes levied, especially those that would involve a vote of the People.

Yeah, but would you vote for if I ran against a likable Liberal - one so malleable that might almost continue to like he/she after they raised your taxes (not just the rich folks, but yours too)?

It's too bad, but that is their choice to only cater to Liberals.

I thought I tied that one up in a nice little package. Hillary is incredibly dishonest to the point she wipes clean her server, and has stonewalled on Benghazi from the beginning.

Like I said, Brady should be so lucky.

In America. there are two sets of rules for politicians: Democrats use the Democrat media to shield their deceits. Republicans are fair game.

The Clintons know this. Barack Hussein knows it. Without FOX News, and independent websites, run by principled people, who knows what they would get away with, what they could accomplish.

Good Republicans love stopping stupid policy almost as well as we like passing wise policy.

All personality driven "Hate" speech aside, it is the way the game is played.

If you want me to lay off Hillary, or Barack Hussein, investigate them (you Liberals) as you would a Republican, or start running honest, principled men and women for office where it effects me.

That is all I ask.
Commented: Sunday, May 10th, 2015 @ 4:28 pm By: Stan Deatherage
I use the word "Liberal" merely as a descriptor where it fits best, like I would use the word Conservative or Libertarian.

I almost never use the word "Hate". That would be your department.

Well Bobby Tony, I reckon your score should pretty close to mine.

I'd like to think that this is what you vets did all that fighting for; regardless, I will always give you the credit for it.

In my eighteen years as a county commissioner, I never voted for a politician, or anyone else for that matter, other than a Veteran to have a bridge, or road or building named after them.

My policy has always been: "Find me an honorable vet, preferably one that died in service of his country, and then I'll vote on the naming of the public property, which meant I usually voted no, because politicians lover honoring other politicians.

I reckon, I have pissed off a bunch of insiders in my time. That will probably continue.

I took your test.

I haven't changed that much from whence I was a commissioner, maybe a little more Libertarian. Actually, I scored for the rights of the individual: 70% on Social, 100% on Economic.

I still consider my self a Conservative, but defined it better here: beaufortcountynow.com

I hate Apps. Responsive templates takes care of all that, plus you still get to see and use almost all of the site on every sized screen. We build the Responsive features into the sites' templates when we build them. Of course, BCN was already rolling when all this Responsive technology became available, so when we made BCN Responsive, it took quite some time due to the massive size of the site.

It is the biggest site, in sheer usable size, in northeastern North Carolina.
