Commented on Understanding your thinkingJeffrey, I would like to publicly thank-you for your well-considered and well-written fist submission to BCN. I can certainly see that you too have your mother's love of science, and it works quite well as a logical platform to explain why folks should take stock in themselves, and their actions.

Commented on Physician, Heal ThyselfHey Mike, What do you think about the new kid's retort to your "out of left field" commentary? Diane certainly has a certain measure of flow once she gets on a roll. In fact, she expresses my sentiments, quite eloquently, as well. Do you think you and Ms. "Spit and Fire" can find any common ground?

Commented on Physician, Heal ThyselfThe truth: The pivate sector should be mistrusted. But, we have the "power of the purse," and the stock market, where we can "vote with our feet," and sell the stock. Government by definition is a monopoly and we have no power over it, save the election day for an enlightened electorate.

Commented on Physician, Heal ThyselfThe reason people do not trust a majority within government is the truth / fiction vs. reality quotient. Most politicians trust that the majority of the public can only digest so much truth, so they mete out a measure of truth with their fiction. I'm different. I can only speak my truth.

Russell, These assessments surely are the April Fool's surprise. I still have not opened my new valuations yet. I will need a fresh 1/5 of Jack before I attempt that endeavor. Read the article on our last general meeting, which lists your options as to any argument that the appraisers are mistaken.

I agree with you Dave on eating what you grow. I also eat what I kill, but I'm growing tired of the taste of liberal Democrat.

Commented on Dear Friends: Part IIMel,
Well spoken. What I have determined with these people, there is never question of fairness to the larger electorate, it is only the perception of fairness to their voting base. On another note: You should consider developing an article for Words with the Publisher.

Commented on Why No Jobs?Greg never lets an opportunity go by to eplain his position and then bang the drum for the election of conservatives.
The really sad part about Dority's article is that there is a strong possibility that what he touts may be true. Scary ... hugh.

Commented on OMG! Hell has frozen over!Publishers Note:
Mike is the nicest, and possibly, one of the smartest liberals I've ever known. It is refreshing to have the opportunity in this publication to present an alternate view from my own. At BCN, we celebrate all positions. Especially if they are as well spoken as Mike's.
