The Chamber rating is not one I put any stock in. The fact that Kidwell tops out on the conservative Civitas rating is much more impressive.

The Chamber is a relly mixed bag. On a lot of tax issues and red tape issues, they are okay, but they have also pushed a lot of liberal clap-trap like men in the womens restrooms, Obamacare Medicaid expansion, NC Green New Deal, etc. Kidwell did NOT vote with them on those things.

"Save the Whales" used to be an environmentalist rallying cry, but now the climate alarmists consider whales just collateral damage in their mad drive to industrialize our oceans with wind turbines.

Short term events like the one you are talking about have nothing to do with CO2 except to the climate alarmist kool aid drinkers like you, Little Bobbie. It was a short term natural event and it is now over.

Climate does change. It is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Multi-year cycles include things like the El Nino / La Nina cycles. Then there are the multi-century warming and cooling cycles like the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age. The claim that human CO2 has anything to do with it is just political poppycock pushed by the globalists. Listen to the prominent scientists interviewed in the British TV documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle".

Don't listen to the MSM spin. In this election year, the GOP won every statewide office in Lousiana and Mississippi, flipping the governor's mansion in Louisiana, and every statewide office except govenror in Kentucky. In Virginia, the GOP won every legislative seat that Trump won in 2020 plus every legislative seat that Biden won by 9 points or less. Republicans also held their own or made gains in holding legislative majorities in Louisiana, Kentucky, and Mississippi. In a special election for a vacant seat in Massachusetts, the GOP captured a state senate seat long held by Demcorats. Republicans also defeated an incumbent Soros prosecutor in liberal Loudon County, Virginia. Who will control the state senate in Virginia is still up in the air because a Democrat has been caught lying about where she really lived, and if she is disqualified, the seat will go to the Republican.

The net gain in the 2023 election of statewide offices was the GOP gained one, the governorship of Louisiana. Everything else on a statewide office stayed the same, mostly Republican. Overall, the GOP also made net gains in lower offices.

To win legislative majorities in Virginia, Republicans had to win one senate seat and three house seats that Biden won by ten percentage points. After polls in summer showed the GOP was likely to do that, the national Democrats pumped a million dollars into those races, but RNC Chairwoman Rona Romney McDaniel refused to put a dime of national GOP money in to counter the Democrat spending.

There is a clear distinction here between Washington's previous black mayors and council majorities on one hand and the Sadler clique on the other, also between two other currnet black politicians who ran this year and those of the Sadler clique. Far from saying all black politicians are anything, the point is that the Sadler clique is different from most of the black politicians Washington has seen over the years. Excess death AFTER a pandemic has run its course and after many have gotten the mRNA jabs is what we are looking at. Insurance execs started raising the alarm over this here in the US earlier this year, and the excess deaths are not people dying from Covid. Heck, government statistics from Taiwan last year which were posted on this site showed slightly mor people there had died from the vaccine than died of Covid itself.

As to election day, it is sad that a despicable thug like George Soros can get away with the racist attack ads he did on our black GOP gubenatorial nominee in Kentucky, but we won every other race in that state as well as all statewide offices in Mississippi and Louisiana. In Louisiana, we took the governorship back from the Democrats. I don't know what you are so smug about. The forces of civilization also took out that Soros prosecutor in Loudon County, Virginia, even though she had a 12 to 1 spending advantage.

Anyone trying to overthrow the government would surely have brought guns along. The J6 rioters did not. They were very wrong to enter the Capitol but saying they were trying to overthrow the govrnment is just absurd. The J6 rioters were also not supporting war criminals and terrorists like the recent pro-Hamas rioters were. The chant "by any means necessary" supported horrific war crimes against women and children.

Those who support terrorism and war crimes should be treated the same as those who commit them. Deportation and criminal charges would have been well justified.
