Board Chairman T.W. Allen got his comeupance over his shrill attacks on the three conservative school board members concerning legislation to authorize the traditional Hillsdale College social studies curriculum. After a parade of leftwing Democrat legislators called Allen to protest that bill, Allen became the mouthpiece of those lefties to attack the conservative members for their supposed role in that bill. As it turned our that role of those conservative members in that legislation was minimal.

It also turned out that legally, such legislatiion was not even necessary. The board already has the legal authority to adopt the Hillsdale curriculum if it chooses to.

Allen parroting the crap from these Democrat legislators is an outrage to Beaufort County parents.

This is not the first study to show that wind farms cause warming of the areas where they are located, and thus contribute to "global warming". It is not liekly to be the last, but you will never see them in the propagandist MSM. If CO2 has anything to do with global warming, which is itself debatable, then wind farms do more than coal plants to cause global warming due to all the trees cut down both to make their blades and to locate the turbines. Whole swaths of the Amazon, which is called "the lungs of the planet" are being deforested for balsa wood to make wind turbine blades. Trees absorb CO2 for photosynthesis and release Oxygen

Those who push this "hate speech" scam are NOT supporters of free speech even if you falsely claim to be. That is also true of those who push the "disinformation" gambit and the contrived "fact check" industry which dishes ideological spin instead of "facts".

Threats are threats, not "hate speech". Communicating threats was a crime here in North Carolina long before the far left invented the term "hate speech". Those clear examples of repression of legitimate political speech in France is what you get when the left puts in place their totalitarian "hate speech" laws.

Lets look at how criminalizing speech is playing out in France (this is what the left wants to do in America):

3 citizens have been arrested for flipping the bird at President Macron, and are now facing a year in jail and a 15,000 euro fine. All have clean records prior to this political arrest.

A French woman who is not politically involved and has no criminal record has been arrested for posting on social media that President Macron is "a piece of filth".

A French Senator has been arrested and charged with "hate speech" for posting on social media "immigration kills" after an illegal immigrant brutally murdered a young French girl.

Two French feminist leaders were arrested and charged with "hate speech" for posting that allowing biological men into womens restrooms was an invasion of womens privacy.

And that is only in the past two months.

None of those involve any of those people arrested doing anything violent. They are political expressions that were suppressed. It looks like Macron is trying to imitate Petain.

The UK medical establishment did this same thing for years at the Tavistock Center, and then the horrors of what was happening there got out in the British media (which is much more ideologically diverse than the very narrow MSM in America) and medical opinion changed from that bad experience of mutilating children. The British National Health Service now advises their doctors against even suggesting new names or pronouns and certainly not surgery or drugs for gender confused children. Finland was also out front on this early, learned their lesson and now no longer approves these surgeries and drug regimes for children. They seem to be a heck of a lot smarter than the ideologues pushing this child abuse at UNC, ECU, and Duke. Glad Wake Forest is not in that mix.

This is a major bill that marks a special interest Republican, one who thumbs his nose at the voters back home in order to carry water for the powerful special interests. It is what special interest whore Sen. Jim Perry (RINO-Kinston) does all the time, and he is in the lead for the special interests on this one, too.

On the other hand, we can thank Rep. Keith Kidwell for standing up for conservative principles on this bill. Most of the opposition to it came from the conservative Freedom Caucus which he leads.

While Long Leaf Politics is sort of a center right source, a more solidly conservative source gives the real scoop on this bill and the role of the "bent" legislative leadership, Tim Moore and Phil Berger, in ramming it through. They are whores for the special interestes and care nohting about grassroots Republicans or Republican principles.

There have been lots of cases of a good guy or gal with a gun stopping a criminal or terrorist.

What happened at Uvalde was rent-a-cops being cowards and even stopping outside lae enforcement from going in. In the Nashville terrorist atack by a transgender, on the other hand, local law enforcement went into action immediately and took down the terrorist. That terrorist specifically picked that school as a target because she determined that it was gun free whereas her other investigated targets had armed defenders present.

A sign outside a school saying something like "staff are armed and will defend this school, outside guns prohibited" would be a huge deterent to these terrorists because most of them are cowards and want to attack where people are not armed to shoot back. We do not need to let our schools be soft targets.

The Parkland attack is what motivated the Florida legislature to pass the bill to allow armed teachers. If they had those during the Parkland attack, it would have been a different story. In fact, as no longer a soft target, it would have probably detered the shooter from even attempting it.

The experience of Sweden showed that the herd immunity concept worked better on stopping the virus than lockdowns and masks, and had the benefit of avoiding all the other societal harm from the lockdowns. Keeping schools open was also something that Europe generally proved that the American approach was wrong on.

The courts never allowed any of these cases filed right after the election to get to the discovery stage, where evidence could have been obtained from the election officials. Election officials themselves have worked to make evidence unavailable. In some cases, like the Georgia Chief Justice, they fudged the rules themselves to sit on things to allow the stall ball.

You obviously know nothing about how the law operates, and just rehash the far left talking points.
