it doesn't matter. Some would say they are all smart considering it takes some smarts to win an election. Are all politicians educated? No. Do some have personality disorders? Yes. Do some have character flaws? Yes.
Stan I consider you "smart", however if you truly believe everyone on the other side of the isle is some how inferior, subhuman, or incapable of understanding truth as you see it, then I would consider you to have a major character flaw. When it comes to people, never paint with a brush so broad you deminish your humanity. You're better than that.
