The Vidant Pungo Hospital Board of Directors voted today to move forward with plans to build a new 24/7 multispecialty care clinic in Belhaven. The plans also include a phased closing of Vidant Pungo Hospital to take place over the next five to six months.

Last night, the UNC Student Congress voted to affirm the finance committee's cut of the UNC College Republican's funding for the fall semester. UNC College Republicans received $3,090 - a 75% cut from last year's funding.
