The 1948 US Supreme Court case that upheld the Alien Enemies Act and ruled that the courts had no jurisdiction to hold hearings on deportations done under that act was Ludecke v. Watkins. It involved President Truman's deportation during peacetime of a foreign national who had entered America legally and held a Green Card. You can read the Supreme Court opinion in that case here: supreme.justia.com

It is appalling to me that our Supreme Court did not follow the clear precedent of Ludecke and dismiss the Democrat legal challenges to Trump's deportations under the Alien Enemies Act. The same interpretation of the law applied to Truman should also apply to Trump.

We have too many benchwarmers on the school board who don't do their homework and just take whatever sleazy Cheeseman tells them as true. What Cheeseman claims on "saving money" by closing Snowden is absolutely ludicrous. It is typical of the absolute flim-flam that comes from Cheeseman.

Wind and solar also produce electricity that is much more expensive than conventional electricity. It is also highly unreliable and prone to blackouts. Ask the people of Spain and Portugal that had the most recent nationwide blackout caused by "green" energy a couple of weeks ago.

The question for me is, who was the president during the Biden term?

But John Steed, if it were known, would you have demanded that Kamala Harris be installed as President?
I find it a difficult decision. We were damned if we did, and damned if we didnt.

One can see why the Democrats went to such extremes to cover this up. If we had an objective news media, they would have demanded release of this while it still mattered.

The Democrat gambit is to cause massive delay in the deportation process with a flood of court hearings for "due process". It is part of the far left's Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm the system. Piven, BTW, was president of the Democratic Socialists of America.

By contrast, the hundreds of thousands of deportations in both the Clinton and Obama presidencies did NOT use due process hearings at this stage. Neither did President Eisehhower's mass deportation program codenamed Operation Wetback. The Democrats are trying to use their allied in the courts to change the rules for Trump and bog down his efforts.

There is a lot of due process required from those who want to immigrate to our country contained in our immigration laws. Illegal aliens thumbed their noses at those due process requirements to sneak in, so it is an outrage for them to demand due process when they are sent home.

The justices who went along with this outrage are beneath contempt. One expects that of the three leftwing members and it should be expected of them. Sadly, Bush appointee John Roberts sits horses with those three far too often. The real outrage is the three trump appointees who seem to take after Benedict Arnold.

In Trump's first term, his staff vetting Supreme Court nominees had tunnel vision on trying to overturn Roe vs. Wade, and concentrated on finding nominees who would vote to overturn that abortion case but could still get through the confirmation process. They seem to have ignored their positions on other key issues, and cases like this one are the result. All three Trump appointees side with the liberals far too often, although rarely all three together. Amy Comey Barrett is by far the worst. She was even the deciding vote against free speech in the most important free speech case in a century. She was a one trick pony.

While I have always taken a pro-life position, it is far less of a key issue than immigration or free speech. Right now I am so angry at the tunnel vision of the pro-lifers at pushing this type of SCOTUS appointee at the expense of much more important issues, that it almost makes me want to flip to pro-abortion.

I find it interesting that Comey, who was FBI director, claims "he was unaware the message has violent connotations"
Even from movies that I saw growing up, even I know 86 means to kill.

John Roberts revealed his true colors as a coward who is terrified of offending the establishment when he sold out the American people on Obamacare. One wonders what sort of incriminating info the Democrats may have on him to explain his constant betrayals from that time since. All of Trump's appointees have been disappointments, especially Amy Comey Barrett, and this is not the first key issue for any of them to go socialist.

Denver's leftwing mayor's love affair with illegal aliens seems to include Tren de Aragua which he tried to deny was even in his area. He must be okay with a high murder rate. Traitors like him should be run out of office. He should also be charged with harboring illegal aliens.

Can you spell R-I-C-O? That should be a basis for prosecuting these Democrat shysters, and hopefully the crooked judges who collude with them.

Democrats cling to their weird "woke" ideology. What else is new? They don't care what the American people think or want. Too bad we cannot deport some of these crazy woke Democrats along with the illegal aliens.

One tactic I wish would be used to counter the Democrat lawfare is having cases on the same issue brought by conservatives, say state attorneys general from conservative states suing federal agencies for NOT following Trump's executive orders and bring them before conservative judges to get contrary rulings to the ones from Obama judges.

Say, Ken Paxton, the solidly conservative Texas AG (and likely next US senator) sues on behalf of Texas seeking to order federal agencies to follow the Trump EO on deporting illegal alien criminal gang members under the Alien Enemy Act, citing the cost to Texas in spending, crime, etc. or these criminals being present. The DOJ could then respond by admitting the allegations of the Texas complaint, and Texas could move for summary judgment, a slam dunk to get an order to proceed with the deportations in the state of Texas. Other conservative states could then follow through.

The Trump administration could then decided to follow the order of the Texas court at least as to deportations within that state.

The Democrats clearly had this lawfare planned out, and the Trump administration should have as well. Some of these AGs hopefully will think of something like this on their own. It would certainly be a boost to Paxton's senate campaign, for example.

So, was the blackout in Spain and Portugal, which was caused by solar panels, a trial run by the Red Chinese on what they could do to our system? Solar and wind are a threat to our energy supply in a whole host of ways. In North Carolina, the Democrats like Josh Stein and Roy Cooper are all for it, as are RINOs like PHil Berger.

Illegal immigration is a real mess in Germany with huge spikes in crime and 63% of the welfare budget spent on illegal aliens. Merz has revealed himself as a flunky of the globalists. He has probably destroyed his party with this betrayal of the voters. Hopefully, he has not also destroyed the country as well.

That bill falls way short on the spending cuts America needs if we are going to save the dollar. It also fails to end the tax on social security benefits, which is highly unfair double taxation. What I hear on the radio is that the problem is the congressional leadership. This is a huge blunder if they fail to take this opportunity for needed budget cuts.

Similarly, the recision bill to cut federal programs already approved seems to be stuck in Congress. We should not tolerate these leadership failures.

Counties like this need to be audited for the last four years and any money given to illegal aliens should be clawed back.
