The Confederate army WAS integrated. White and minority soldiers served together in the same units, and either could serve as officers. Blacks and other minorities in the Union army served in segregated regiments, black soliders led by white officers. You might want to watch the movie "Glory" which tells the story of one such Union regiment. The Confederate States Army was integrated in 1861 and it is sad that the United States army waited ninety years to do that.

They should never have had the level of control of a presidential debate that they were allowed.
One rule that ought to be put in place is that no entity whose own campaign coverage was more than 60-40 in one direction or the other would have any role in any presidential debate.

That would be the CONFEDERATE army, Bobbie, that first allowed black and other minority soldiers. There were black Confederate soldiers defending their country against the Union invasion beginning at the First Battle of Manassas. In fact, while the Union army, when they finally allowed black soldiers, only paid them half of what white soldiers were paid. The Confederate army paid minority soldiers the same as white soldiers. The Union army did not allow minority soliders to serve as commissioned officers, while the Confederate army did. In fact the highest ranking minority to serve in the war was Confederate General Stand Waite.

Free speech is on the ballot this year in the US. If you want to save it, vote for Donald Trump. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz want to go down the same path as Ursula von der Leyden to crush it. That would simultaneously crush democracy.
Elon Musk is absolutely right that if Harris wins, free speech in the US will be dead in the next four years. This is the last chance to save democracy by electing Trump.

Fascist? That would be Kamala Harris. IT is Harris who wants to concentrate power in the executive branch by weakening the other branches of government. She has openly endorsed neutering the US Supreme Court, and weakening legislative give and take by ending the fillibuster in the Senate. It is Harris who in the current Biden-Harris regime has overused ruling by decree, namely executive orders. That is exactly how Adolf Hitler obliterated the Weimar Republic. She has also been there with Joe Biden in misusing rulemaking to issue regulation that contradict and gut actual laws that were duly passed by Congress.
Democrats have a history of blaming Republicans for what the Democrats themselves are doing, and that is what is happening here. In his four years as president, Trump did NOT make the fascist moves that Biden-Harris have for the past four years or propose the authoritarian government changes that she does. If Kamala Harris wants to see a fascist, she should look in a mirror. All of this phony "fascist" rhetoric by Harris, Hillary, and others is just an attempt to encourage another assassination attempt against Trump. That is shameful and un-American.

The Presidential Debate Commission doing that led the Republican National Committee last year to severe their ties to that commission, with the intent to negotiate debate issues directly with the Democrats. Unfortunately, the new incompetent RNC chairman Michael Whatley dropped the ball on that and failed to follow through, allowed the Democrats around Biden to push Trump to do it their way. "Moderators" who quibble openly the Republican but allow the Democrat to brazenly tell lie after lie make the debate a 3 on 1 event, and that should never be allowed to happen again. The world's oldest newsmagazine, "The Spectator" based in the UK, correctly called those conducting this year's presidential debate "Immoderators".
This problam should not be allowed to continue. The RNC needs to strike early to only participate in debates with balanced moderation. Keep the stinking pro-Democrat MSM the heel OUT of running them.

I know the woke community does not want to hear this or agree but for the short time that I was in the Army the program was to teach us how to break things and kill people. It is unfortunate, but war is Hell and people have to be trained to face that if we plan to win a war.
