I think we are not talking about the same thing. A plant based diet means you eat, whole grains, fruits & vegetable, some dairy and a little meat. It does not mean you live on impossible burgers. Plant based meat products are OK but they are highly processed. One can live on them alone.
Lab grown meat is meat. If proven safe, the market, not MAGA should decide.

The same voter registration shananigans by the Democrats happen in North Carolina, too. In the 2016 election when McCrory narrowly lost, hundreds of fraudulent student voter registrations were found in Durham County. The best piece I saw on this was by American Lens, a photojounalism site run by two NC women, who have since ended their partnership. Their piece showed them driving from the administration building at Duke University where officials would not talk to them to an outlying gravel parking lot with no structures, which was the address that hundreds of Duke students (probably from out of state) used as their residence address to register to vote in Durham County. Then they had shots of the administration building at NC Central University across town which had been given as the residence address of hundreds of NCCU students when they registered to vote. Of course, nobody really lived either on that parking lot or in the NCCU administration building. Yet many ballots were cast in the names of these "voters."
In next door Wake County, the Voter Integrity Project obtained a list of people who had told the court system that they were not American citizens when they were called for jury duty and compared it to the voter registration list. They found hundreds of matches, many of whom were recorded as having actually voted. When they presented this to the Democrat controlled Wake County Board of Elections, that body refused to even conduct their own investigation. They did nothing and the likely foreign citizens stayed on the registration books.

Commented on More Beaufort County School Board Back Room DealsCan’t get nothing by the hawk
Washingtonitilist might have been worried about the repercussions of using the correct terminology after what had happened to that poor boy in that one NC school. Imagine being a child and learning definitions in school, but when they tell you, “use it in a sentence” your sentence becomes an illegal hate crime. The one sane child is sent to mental health counseling when in fact it is the teachers and administrators who are the ones in desperate need of it. Talk about traumatizing a child.

The universities involved in the study were in the UK and Brazil, not even in the US, Bobbie. You shoot from the hip with an accusation of who you pull out of thin air to claim paid for it, with nothing to back that up.
The WEF and other globalists have lots more money pushing their "Build Back Better" schemes which are anti-meat. Not only do they push fake meat but also eating crickets and mealworms. There are some big time globalist billionaires like Bill Gates heavily involved in that. There is a lot more anti-meat money out there than pro-meat. If you want to see where the big money is on this issue, do a search on "World Economic Forum" and "meat". They are openly pushing fake meat and opposing real meat, but at their own conferences at Davos, these elitists are going to be eating the real thing themselves. Fake meat is only for the masses.

If we had leaders with any backbone, there is an easy solution under the international asylum treaties. If someone is already in a safe country, they are not entitled to asylum in a different country. Mexico and Canada are both deemed safe countries, so we could legally turn every one of these fraudsters and moochers back. That is exactly what Hungary does, and on the basis on those treaties. We could do it, too, and should.

Commented on More Beaufort County School Board Back Room Deals"Illegal alien" is the correct term as defined in federal immigration law for foreign citizens who are in our country illegally. However, federal immigration law defines "immigrant" as only those foreign citizens who are properly going through the legal immigration process.
"illegal immigrant" is a contradiction in terms because if they are here illegally, they are NOT an immigrant under the definitions of federal immigration law. Indeed that term is an insult to real immigrants who are lawfully going through the immigration process.

Your constant parroting of anti racism garbage, is your guilty conscience telling on you for being racist. I would bet you actually don’t have any true black friends, nor have you ever tried to gain one.
A friend gives a hand up, people like you give a hand out (as long as it’s not from your own). All men are inherently racist, favoring their own race, this goes back to the Tower of Babel and the duality of man. The policies you suggest overcompensate for one race against another. Is that not racist? This will only lead to more animosity between the two. Are you suggesting Bob, that white people of today, should be guilty of the sins of ancestors 200 years ago? Is the Government God? Who is able to curse the son with the sins of the father? Then we should also charge the descendants of John Wilkes Booth for killing Lincoln, the descendants of James Earl Ray for killing MLK, the descendants of the Captains who sailed slaves to the new world (where they never would have ended up otherwise), I mean we could go on and on. We are going to need a new Government agency to keep track of all these ancestral crimes. This agency should also goto all schools and places of employment, asking these cracka whites: “What have you done for Black people this week?” Anyone can say the things you say about race and feel self righteous about theirselves. So let’s start with you: What have you done for black people this week?

Affirmative action was widespread in the early 1970s. Everybody now below retirement age would have come up when it was part of the system. That explodes your inherited racial guilt argument.
On top of that, the court case that required stringent racial quotas in all schools came out of Mecklenburg County, NC and was decided in 1970. Maybe it took a year or two to work its way through all the school systems, but everyone below retirement age would have gone to high school when stringent racial quotas were in effect. Again, that demolishes your argument. The woke crap about inherited racial guilt and trying to call groups of people either "oppressors" or "oppressed" over things that happened over half a century ago is just Marxist crap about dividing our society, straingt out of Herbert Marcuse.

The "lawfare" attacks on those who disagree with the Biden political agenda are attacks on our democracy. This should not be tolerated in a free country. It goes beyond just Trump. The DOJ and FBI are both corrupt. A majority of Americans in a poll agreed that the FBI iG now Biden's personal Gestapo.

It was researchers in health and science from two universities who published a peer reviewed article exposing the health problems with fake meat. You are the idiot on the internet shooting from the hip and disagreeing with them. Read the article, not just the linked one but the peer reviewed article which is linked within it. You might learn something.

Commented on How the sausage is made on Jones StreetOur system did not meet international best practices of election integrity on a number of issues prior to 2020, but in that election cycle, the Democrats systematically trashed many of the safeguards we did have. There have been some improvements since, but a lot more needs to be done to get back to the standards we had before 2020. One such improvement made in many states but not all is to ban ideological organizations like Zuckerbergs from inserted their people into boards of elections that are supposed to be impartial.
It is not about who wins. It is about processes that are fair, honest, and transparent to secure election integrity. Jimmy Carter understood that and worked in his election processes commission toward such a syste,, but today's Democrats care only about power and how to rig the system to get and keep it.

A president or govenror cannot amend statutory law or the Constitution by executive order, which is what Obama admited he did not have the power to do but then did it anyway, and what Biden is doing repeatedly.
There is a major Supreme Court case expected shortly that is expected to put a stop to this abuse of power by the executive branch by reversing what is known as the Chevron doctrine. The SCOTUS already threw out the bump stock ban on this basis. They did not even get into Second Amendemnt Constitutional issues. They threw it out because the executve branch did not have the power to make law, only Congress. Hitler established his dictatorship by ruling through executive order and bypassing the elected Reichstag. It is how dictatorship gets establsihed. In the US, the doctrine of Separation of Powers still dictates what can legally be done by executive order, which is limited, and what requires Congressional approval. That is the difference between a democracy and a dictatorship, and Biden has behaved much more like a dictator than Trump ever thought about.
