Many more voters have cracked the code on "woke" Baghdad Bob, and will vote it down every chance they get. Quite a few school board members all over the country, including three in Beaufort County, learned that last election. More will learn it next election. Parents do NOT want woke in their schools.

Nobody likes unreasonable PDA. I think pride parades are just a reaction to awful treatment some seem to think is their right to inflict on others. My guess. If there was less hate in the world there would be no need for a pride parade.

My guess is that when you coach up a kid to be a bigot, she/he runs into trouble in the public square.

Vicky, we cracked the code. Voters no exactly what that means.

Fighting over pronouns. Now there is a good use of your time!

Haven't been to Disney in many years, but even back then, I felt very uncomfortable in certain areas (both East coast and and West) that seemed to be promoting sexual inuendos for children.

Kids can be a lot smarter than you think, and the smarter ones can be very attuned to politics. There was a 13 year old in one school district who proved their school superintendant a liar when the kid recorded a teacher in the system, blatantly pushig CRT after the superintentandt claimed there was no CRT in their system. We have a 14 year old in our family who complained last year of two teachers in a school in a nearby county who were constantly pushing left wing politics in class. Of course, the complaints were just to family members, but many kids are perceptive to this politicized material in class.

The liars you need to fight are the illegal aliens, who abuse the asylum treaties with fake asylum claims to game the system. Most never turn up to try to prove those claims in immigration court because they know they are bogus. Of those who do go to court, most are found to be bugus and turned down. It is just a scam for most of them to get their foot in the door. Asylum treaties need to be severaly tightened up to put a stop to this abuse.

We also need to do what Hungary does and use a provision already there in asylum treaties. No country is required to take an "asylum seeker" if they are already in a safe country. All countries bordering both Hungary and the US are deemed safe countries, and we can turn them back at the border. Hungary has been doing that for years. They give them an immediate pro forma hearing in front of a magistrate, and immediately eject them back across the border. We should be doing the same, not putting them up in fancy hotels. They are fraudsters with their fake asylum claims.

The pronoun issues in the United State have already found their way into Beaufort County Health Department contracts.

We need to fight back.

All wise people finally well know that spending far more of the public's money on public education will never enhance the product, not until major reforms are enacted; reforms that can be paid for by the stopping of: poor policy; negligent oversight; and societal polymorphism in favor of co-called victimhood, rather than leadership toward educational excellence.

These are not 'illegal' aliens. They are migrants LEGALLY seeking asylum from countries you should visit to gain some perspective. Unless, of course, you're content being Neanderthals throwing tantrums.

Telling history from an American perspective is needed in the schools, not a woke or globalist perspective.

Pro-truth is often unpopular. And although Columbus was a great explorer, he didn't discover America.

Socialism only works till the money runs out. At the rate this administration is spending money, it won't take long. This is why Biden and company want ALL guns from law abiding citizens. When it crashes, they will blame Trump, and protect themselves against those of us who are still armed.

The worst thing about Bridges is that it aligns with the failed Common Core math that has been dumbing down our students. Dr. Phillips told the School Board that Bridges was "not Common Core" but after citizens pointed out that Bridges own website boasted how Bridges aligned with Common Core, Phillips had to walk that back. Now the excuse was that teachers could just delete the Common Core aspects, but how realistic is that when the whole Bridges curricum is designed to be aligned to Common Core?

Our elected school board members need to stop funcionting as rubber stamps for the superintendant and start engaging on these issues to represent the parents and taxpayers who elected them.

History is history. It is not "white history" or "black history" or "green history" or "pink history". It is just history. That is until you try to politically distort it with something like CRT or the 1619 Project. What you want, Bolshevik Bob, is woke history and that is not real historty at all. Even the originator of the 1619 Project has admitted it is not history. You loony left woke buffoons want to make everything about race, but it is not. As race hustlers, you are the main racists of today. You purveyors of America's Maoist Cultural Revolution do, indeed, attack great explorers like Columbus as part of your War on History. Don't you comprehend you are being both anti-Catholic and anti-Italian when you do so?

The real history, or the white history? When you advocate the Hillsdale curriculum you are are not advocating for the real history. No need for us to argue the point. Most know what Hillsdale represents. Hillsdale isn't inherently bad, but leaving out other perspectives is disingenuous. Columbus didn't discover America and no public school should teach from any one perspective.

There was a 14 or 15 year old girl who was a student in the Beaufort County Early College program who spoke to the Beaufort County Conservative Club a year or two ago about how she was being taught CRT there even though the school officials claimed it was not being taught in the county schools. She also said that there was radical gender theory being espoused there. I later heard that this same girl dropped out of school and got a GED due to all the left wing political mess being pushed at the Early College program. The Early College program is run by Beaufort County Schools.

I like the British education law on this point. It requires that all sides be presented fairly when it comes to contested issues of political thought. When some British schools started allowing the BLM agenda to be preached in their classrooms, including Critical Race Theory, Kemi Badenoch, the Minister for Equalities in Boris Johnson's cabinet, who is a black woman herself, made a stirring speech in the House of Commons warning them that they were breaking the law. Here is a clip of part of that speech: www.youtube.com

Also, when schools started showing Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth", they were taken to court over it, and the British High Court ruled that if that movie was shown to school children, the school had to give a disclaimer that it is a propaganda film and contains multiple false statements of fact.

That is the attitude schools here should take to political issues, but I have heard too many instance from parents and children shere they do the same things Kemi Badenoch was complaining of on a whole raft of politicized issues.

While I do believe in sexual freedom, I do not believe it is the best interest of all concerned to put on public display this type of sexuality. People should be free to do as they wish so far as sex is concerned; but, a public display in such a manner should not be forced on the general public!

The EPA got really creative with the Clean Air Act to try to include CO2 which is not a pollutant. If the case brought by the fishermen now pending at the Supreme Court is decided the way most expect, I think that power grab is going to be rammed down their throat. That case should be decided in the next few months.

But the last time the EPA tried a power grab to impose these sort of restrictions on power plants, that power grab was itself shot down by the SCOTUS.
